No, it is probably not.  The system updates scan your Wii for hacks and delete them.  It might be best to watch Youtube on something else.

    I agree however I have heard that theres a way to actually update channels without the bad update.

    my dad got internet on the wii and i was peeing my pants when he wanted to update, so he did and turns out its all fine

    though i wouldnt take my word for it, wait till more post tell you if its ok or not
