OK what did i do wrong?

I wanted to use the Classic Sonic and Tails with the voice pack that came with it. The hack already worked, but i was using Gecko so the voices stayed as the ice climbers. So i decided to download riivolution so i could use the voices as well. After installing and making sure the SSBBFiles.xml was in the riivolution folder so i could use my Gecko file replacement code, i started the game. Immediately i noticed my wii kept flashing on and off, and then i noticed that my music for the game was working. so i decided to go to the training room (wii why you flashing so much?) and when i clicked training the game froze and my wii made that all-too-familiar beeping noise. What did i do wrong? XD

Riivolution has no need for a File Patch Code.

hmm...then how do i transition from gecko to riivolution? i've only used gecko i have no idea how to use riivolution
