Advice to reduce crashing?

It's a problem I know we've all faced more than a little, the most frustrating thing ever, random crashing. Of course I'm not talking about stuff that crashes for a reason, just those random times where mid match everything just goes stupid. Does anyone out there have any useful tips on how to reduce this problem? I usually back up and format my SD card, but I'm wondering if you guys have any better tricks up your sleeves.

Check to make sure the following is done below

. Do you have moveset hacks? (PSA)
. Did any of your modified Files went over the file size limit?

I'm not talking about a specific instance, I'm just talking about general random crashing when you know everything is OK but it just screws up anyway.

Does it just freeze anywhere like the SSS or CSS etc..?

there are a few reasons, sometimes... Once I "tried against my will" to press the buttons really fast to be out of the stun state (I don't know I have to say it like this but...) and it froze.

The only thing to avoid random freeze is to play with less PSA/Stages hacked but... after this... I don't really know.
