When I load the homebrew channel, go to gecko, load the codes, wait for the game to load, click on brawl, and then freeze. I thought maybe it's the textures fault, so I deleted it off my sd card and same thing happend again. So then I deleted all of my character stuff and went back to the game. Still freezes, I dont know whats the problem,it worked yesterday, and now it just wont let me. Please some respond, because I told my friend that I have a hack were you can play as scott pilgrim in brawl, and I don't want to seem like the troll that invited you over telling you that sonic and tails were in melee.

On what part of the game on brawl does it freeze on?
when you go to brawl or any mode, it freezes right before character select. |

if you have character select pac file its either:
Something is un-readable and messed up
or the filesize limit was passed. (3.74 MB)

if you have character select pac file its either:
Something is un-readable and messed up
or the filesize limit was passed. (3.74 MB)
I just put my SD files on mediafire, can you look at them and try to find the problem? |

try replacing the mu_menumain.pac with a fresh one in the resources section

you're probally going to have to delete every file in your private folder but keep the folders themselves and put fresh one in and see if that works out for you

Are you using a custom CSS or custom portraits for characters? Because that's usually what makes it crash right when you click Brawl. If so, I would take off everything from the card (other than Gecko of course) and just put in the Scott hack, then slowly build up from there so if it does crash you can figure out what's causing it.
The CSS is very easy to crash if you're not careful to keep the file size as low as possible.
