Finally decided to ask for help

Okay. Seggy here, with a problem. I previously had Geno over ROB, right? No problem. I then got bored of Geno and decided to switch back to ROB. I replace the portraits back to ROB, yada yada. After I did replace them, whenever I was on the default CSP and clicked X/Y to change my costume slot, the game froze, right there on the spot.

My ROB character slot hates me. Any advice on how to fix this dilemma?

Did you try changing his color on regular brawl to see if it froze Also did you try to put the CSP's back in?

Did you removed all codes, rels, files etc. of geno?

I put SDo0m's latest Deadpool over ROB (using a P&P1.2 module from PhantomWings), but it's the same result.

First part: What. You mean w/o codes? If so, no. I haven't tried that yet.
Second part: The CSP's I put on ROB were SJ's.

I have no codes for Geno in my GCT.
The Geno PSA didn't come with a module. He was built to be over ROB, but yes. There's no REL of Geno or any of his files left. Lemme try again and see if the slot will freeze.

EDIT: Just tested again. Still froze when switching portraits. Switching portraits w/o cheats works fine though.
Maybe it's my portraits I made for Deadpool...
EDIT2: Can't be the portraits. They were unindexed, like SJ's, and his worked fine in my game with no freezing. Da fuq is going on...

Could be a corrupt common5/sel_character. I suggest you get a clean copy, rip ROBs CSPs from it, add them to your original file and test it out. Post results.

edit: whoops didn't see your edit. When you say "it worked with no codes", are you referring to vBrawl, or all of your hacks just w/o codes?

Just plain Brawl with no codes, no hacks, nothing. Just the game.

export the BRRES file that contains the original ROB portraits from a original file and replace yours with it

Okay. So I replaced the default ROB portraits over mine, and the portraits didn't freeze. Guess it WAS my portraits that froze the game.
