I think this is cause I have a dirty lens but:

For both SSBB and Negima!? Neo Pactio Fight (Import) I get the error:

An error has occurred please eject the disc and turn off the power.

    Something like that.

I hear the disc struggling to be read, much like my old GCN. Anyway I can fix it without taking it apart?

Also, other games work I have played a heavily beat up SSBM with one "cant read error" and put it back in and it worked. Also a lightly used Fire Emblem: POR loaded just fine.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks!

This happened to me a few years ago? Did you get it at launch? If so, im not sure about the game you imported, but ssbb will most likely not eb able to be read again, unless you spend a half hour trying. its because the original wii games were single layered dsics. brawl, and anotehr game would be Metroid: Other M, are duel layered dsics, so the older wii's have a hard time reading

if you got your wii at launch, or around it, i would suggest getting a usb and start using a usb loader.

Or you could get a new disc drive, and replace it manually. of course, you'd also need a screwdriver that has nintendo's triwing head. That would probably run about 40-50 dollars for both, and you'd still need to follow a guide to replace the drive.

I didn't get it at launch  I got it Easter of 2007. Would that still be an issue. I was able to et it to play, but I have to eject and put back in the disc everytime it struggles reading it to insure I don't get the error.

Hmm. That is fairly early. It's still a good chance that the fuel layered disc is an issue. You can send it in to Nintendo and they replace it. Tho i have to remove home brew stuff

Yeah I'm thinking about doing that. Do they do it for free?

At this point, no. I believe the warranty only lasts a year from purchase. And the homebrew channel voids that, anyway.
