What 3D modeling program do you use? Probably any 3D modeling program can create these objects but the method of creating them is different.

    http://forums.kc-mm.com/Gallery/Resources.php

3DS Max and Blender are listed but I recommend Blender because it's an open source program (aka it's free). The difference between the .dae files don't matter too much, I'm pretty sure the collada exporter is the same for every program. However there's little tutorials about using Blender and I haven't gotten much experience with Blender compared to 3DS Max.

Is it easy to use and will I be able to use it for my brawl stage or will I need to convert it?

"Easy" is subjective so I can't answer that question to you but I suggest you should get familiar with its user interface and how it controls and works. It can export .dae files so no you don't need to convert.

I don't make stages so no I am unable to analyze your problem if you have any concerning stages.
