I was using it to build a stage and I could see through it if there was another one of it behind it.

Don't use hacks on Wifi: It desynchs, and you can now get banned for it (I think).
Using hacks in single player remains fine.

Wrong. Turn off WiiConnect24. And vertex/textures work fine.
