thanks guys, and ya u could just use an already made to rain or snow stage to make it rain, i dont think it would work on a 2D stage, and i just took the rain from distant planet and put it on to look like rain. long process, and i personally didnt do it, it was one of my friends, the username "Lockstin" is in a way, 3 people. theres me, the guy who posts stuff and does textures and some vertex hacks, theres one of my other friends who is doing most of the vertex hacking for future releases, and theres a third who swaps stuff and is also leaning to vertex hack. the third one actually is in college for this stuff and i dont get to talk to him much.
No, it's possible to have weather on 2D stages, I have snow on my chocolate bar destanation.
