i can never find the dam texture for the sky or the background n it really stresses me out. i seen it be done before hundres of times so i would like someone to tell me how to properly change a stage's background please

...that depends on what stage it is.
Generally, you can find the model with the background in Brawlbox and start un-checking textures util you find the relavant ones.

true. some stages already have a texture for a stage but wat if they dont? for example, Green Greens doesnt have an actual background texture but i have seen it changed before many times so how does that work? |

Is there at least a model incuding or being the background?
Then you can swap those.

Honestly that wasn't the background I originally wanted for the stage, I actually wanted the one from the Sunset Haven stage to be the background. You can actually see it if you pause and zoom out about 2 mins into a match. The problem is the actual background for the stage isn't a seperate model but part of the stage model itself (polygons 102 and 103), I tried removing the polygons but all i got was freezes.
But in response to your question. The textures for the background are ModelData[2] and are dioramaB_10 and dioramaB_10_cloud02. Hope that helps.

LMFAO! that was just too funny im sorry lol anyway i was gonna edit for my own personal use n maybe release it with ur permission n of course crediting u for mostly everything but this thread killed the whole surprise. u kno wat thats funny that u said those are the textures. i had a feeling cause those were transparent n the only ones that were missing. ill try it out thanks =] |
