ok so ive been working on Luigi for some time now but then i tried to vertex hack his body polygon0. i have made the DDV.ddf a couple of time redoing every step but when i put in anim8tor it says error in reading file. i have no idea whats going on someone plz help

    Are you exporting the vertex set or the polygon? It should be the vertex set that you export. And I'm not sure if it was a typo or not, but Das Donkey Vertex Box gives you DDV.3ds not DDV.ddf. When you export the vertex set, you rename it vertex.ddf, maybe you got mixed up.

    that was a typo and yes i am exporting the vertex set and then naming it vertex.ddf but i still can't put it in anim8tor

    The DDV.3ds created by the vertex box is what you open with the modeling program, not the vertex.ddf. I just opened those vertices up fine with anim8or and 3ds Max. There has to be a step you're missing or doing incorrectly.

    i am sure im doing it rite ive done this with many others.  i can edit all of the other vertex sets except 0
