Is it possiable to port over the rain effect from distant planet onto a 2D stage over Final Destination.

I've seen a FD texturer which is rainning. I'm wondering how I would go about doing this.

    yes its very possible. thats how they made stormy eldin. Just find the guy who made that and see if he will do it
