Hi everybody ! :-)

I'm kinda new to Brawl hacking, but I want to use the BrawlEX Clone Engine in all its glory. Let me explain : I'd like to have this Shadow PSA in a new slot, separate from DK. However, I'd also like it to have Shadow's Announcer voice and SFX separate from DK. (As well as a separate Menu slot, battle portraits, etc.) In other words, I'd like to have it as touched up as Pichu in Brawl-. I don't care if I have to replace some boss's SFX, except if it's Master Hand or Crazy Hand (That's why I'm not using Shulk).

If possible, I'd also like him to have his Japanese voice (Never mind what source game).

Is it possible to do that ?

I'd like to thank anyone who will take time to answer. I'd also like to say that again, I'm really new to this kind of hacking, so I'll share my files in my Google Drive to have help working on them. I'd also like to have step-by-step instructions if possible.

Finally, I'll be using an ISO with either Wiiflow or USBLoaderGX (since PAL Brawl is not supported, and I already have a legal backup of NTSC Brawl), so I don't know if I'll have to either edit the files in the ISO or use a Gecko code to have my files on my SD. (I'd, of course, prefer the second option)

    Brawlex can't be used on ISO I don't think.

    Brawlex can't be used on ISO I don't think.

    you cant BrawlEX Donkey kong. you would have to brawlex the one over sonic. editing the PSA can make it so that it can replace the sfx of the boss sfx ids and put them in the psa. i have not enough time to do it for you (sorry) but it can be done. I use wiiflow and its set up just like regular brawl hacking on an sd card.

    It's all easy enough to do. The SFX just take a long time because you have to do pretty much all of it manually. Changing their soundbank to the desired boss in the Fighter config, then replacing all the sfx in the boss soundbank to your character THEN editing the PSA to play the desired sfx for each animation. Takes too much time, yet I've done it so many times now for Shulk, Shadow, Lucina Young Link, and Megaman X

    As for the Announcer, you'll have to replace a sound effect with the announcer, maybe a sound effect in Group 46 since those are never heard unless you use a wii remote. Then find the Infodex OD for that sound and put it in the cosmetic config

    @SUPAHSAWNIK99 Yeah this Shadow PSA looks really nice too ! :-)

    @Gigaeel I knew that, when asking that, it'd be long. But I'm willing to learn anyway. As for the announcer, I thought I could first replace the "Fighting Alloy Team" unused announcer call. At least for Shadow.
