You're gonna have to troubleshoot yourself, as this isn't the thread for that. Start by removing the GFX and testing afterward.

It can't be the GFX. It works pretty well before the modification.

Before someone attacks me: No, I won't say/accept the term "American" to refer exclusively to people or things from the United States. America is a continent and deal with it. I'm an American, but not necessarily from the U.S.

Well, I just tested it on my end, and there's no issues. But like I said. This isn't the thread for troubleshooting.

Then you most likely tested in on Dolphin.
Well, thanks for the help.
Like you said, I'm out of luck. So I'll leave it as it is.

KJP, I tried this tutorial's info to change your P:M Link for vBrawl's SFX to a boss' SFX (for use with BrawlEx), but it didn't really work. The character stayed silent, and only made some of the sounds when using the back throw.
The soundbank is already properly changed in the BrawlEx files, and the .sawnd file is already in place. Then I did change the values of the FitChar file according to the tutorial, but those were my results.

Did you make sure the IDs were correct with your corresponding Soundbank?
This tutorial only covers the Low Voice Clip command, Death, Ottotto Voice Clip command, and Crowd Cheer.
If you did, then you might have to edit the sounds themselves, as using Boss Soundbanks are awkward, as they fade out when far away, so that could possibly be why your sounds are low or mute ingame.

But then, how do I go about the normal sounds?

Those are editable in PSA normally. The ones he talks about in this thread require Tabuu or BrawlBox.

Damn. I don't remember how to do those. Last I used PSA was in 2010, I have no clue anymore.
But thanks, anyway.

Shared SFX?
Characters who share a soundbank slot. Example: Zero shares soundbank with Link. Only Link uses less than his used SFX and Zero uses all the unused SFX. It depends how do you want that to work.

Hi i need help with this, i downloaded a PSA over Snake (Megaman) and ported it over Olimar, but the PSA uses Snake's sounds so i wanted to edit that PSA to use Olimar sounds instead, so the first sounds i replaced were Starko sound and the crowd cheering Snake! to Olimar's, ingame those sounds were silent, so i tried another thing i replaced the star ko sound with Lucas Star ko sound, it worked but no at the same time, it has Lucas star ko sound only if Lucas is in the match, but if he isn't he is silent, is there a way to fix that, please help me

1st idea I had after reading this: You just changed the sounds, but not the SFX IDs. Those IDs need to be changed in PSA. This tutorial shows how to change the "impossible" IDs, and those are the ones you cannot edit with PSA. 2nd idea after reading a few more times: You changed the sounds and the IDs, perfect. They are silent, that's bad. To fix that, you'll need a code to make the character you ported to have another's soundbank.
