Can you explain how to do this?
Sure xD First, you get the trophies from the game, they are in the toy folder Then, extract them with ais (I first used another model extractor but I had to place every texture in a manual way, now with ais is much easier). You'll have a collada dae file and some textures. Place the dae and the textures where you want them to be. Open the dae file with a 3D program compatible with collada dae format. I use 3DS max 7 I guess. Move the camera to make it look the more similar to the original csps. Edit the lightings, edit if there's any issue with the textures (eyes are usually troublesome) and save. Every time you open that file, it will load the textures in that folder. If you change the location of the textures, you won't get them to work, so you need to keep those textures in the very same folder forever O.o Any time you need to make a new csp, just change the textures in the folder for the ones of your texture, open the 3d file, and voila, it's now the textured character Take a pic, edit with photoshop or similar, and make the csp from it It really took some time to do this, I've been improving my technique and I'm now able to make csp's from a prepared 3d file in only 5 minutes or so What version of AIS are you using? Blender keeps returning an error every time I import.

Ais 0.1.3 http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?jzdd22l4zndI have not ever used blender, so I don't really know if it will work for it. But if you're able to import other collada dae files, you should be able to make it too with the dae files made by ais. I'll try to make some of the toonlinks or lensho's smb3 textures today, but not all of them. I did never say I'm really takin requests, I only said I would be takin them when I got some time. So I could be a little slow with CSP because of stages being my major priority ^^U

Ok well i couldn't get the to convert right...I guess...but I found some preconverted .dae files. Works fine.
Now my question is...how can i get vertex hacked models to be in the same position?

If you convert the vertex hacked models with ais, you will get a model with bones. You have to move those bones in order to imitate the original position, or you can cut the vertex edited parts and place them individually where they have to be in the pre-positioned model

I feel like I'm doing something wrong. I'm dragging the trophy's .brres file over AIS. Then it extracts a .dae model and the textures. But when I try to import the model it gives me an error. I have someone else dae. trophies and they work but mine don't.
I wanted to be able to use AIS myself bc I was going to use brawlbox to take the vertacies from the vertex hacked model and place them in the trophy. Then convert it to a collada dae file.
BTW...I'm eating hot pockets.

This is going to sound like an odd request, but instead of the CSPs, could you post the 3DSMax files you use, textured and all, for this? I'm having real trouble with getting eyes fixed as well as the lighting.

I'm not sharing the 3ds files, but instead I can try to fix the eyes and lights for you like I made for mine if you send me your file.

That'd be lovely. I'm kinda new to the whole 3D model stuff, so.. yeah. :x Here's the model I'm currently messing around with. It's the Zelda trophy model. I included the textures (obviously) and the 3DSMax file, as well as the original DAE. Thanks much for this. http://www.mediafire.com/?nzmtwncom2y

Mmm... Zelda is one of the few models I've not processed yet... xDDDD
I will try to place the eyes and lights for you, but I've not done it to Zelda yet. The others I've not done yet because of focusing in stage hacking are Sheik and Olimar I guess
I'll post the edited version here when done
