.pcs files are compressed (using LZ77 compression). .pac files are uncompressed.
So, to compress a .pac file, go into Brawlbox and change Compression to "LZ77" and save as a .pcs.

You don't compress fitnamemotionetc.pac or fitname.pac
Those don't get compressed.

well i just compressed a motionetc file and it seems to work fine. The reason why i'm trying to find out a way because Edgy Bluz said he could release what hes got of Byakuya if the motion file size wasn't too big and I'm trying to help him.

It doesn't usually work. If a motion pac is too big then removing as many key frames as possible is the best choice of action

It should be pointed out that some PAC files do need to be compressed. This includes all the files in the menu2 folder and the info2 folder.
