My brother and I were looking for some new hacks to try out. Seeing the Smash Smash Blast: Frozen Edition, we downloaded it and installed it. It went great until we tried playing as one of the characters. The game froze. We thought, "Alright, just a little bug, no biggy. Just don't use that character." So, we go to start it up again. Well, on the loading screen, it just stops. We tried ten more times with the same results. So, we got a different mod, Super Smash Bros Infinite 1.5, and the same thing. This next time, we format the SD card and try a single character mod, turning Captain Falcon into Minecraft Steve. Same thing. Riku over Ike. Same. Cloud over Olimar. Same. Every single hack we trie came to the same result, even after trying it with different SD cards and formatting them. We can play the vanilla game, but having beaten it so many times and having tasted the joys of mods, we want to use mods again. Any ideas?

We use Configurable USB Loader, using IOS 249, on System Menu 1.4.3, with a 2 gigbyte SD card, 4 gigbyte SD card, and a 16 gigabyte External Thumb Drive.

Did you try using Project M and modding it to remove the P:M animations(If you want to) and add what you want that way? It's hackless, so you just put the stuff on your SD card and it runs. You can use the 2GB SD for that.

Doesn't the Hackless version require the actual disk? My disk is too scratched up to really play, so I might not be able to perform that.

There is a way to play Project M without the disc; I know cause I've seen someone do it before. I dunno how, though.

Worst comes to worst, you can always create/get an .iso, insert mods into it with Wii Scrubber, and imprint the .iso onto a CD.

The problem is that Wii Scrubber takes a large amount of time to perform the mods, and even then, can mess up, leaving the whole iso a waste.

Hence the reason I said "worst comes to worst", i.e. you have to spend a lot of time.

Btw, did a quick Google search, and found these suggestions by people:

Same result. Could it be the RSBE01.gct file messing it up? Or the Hook Type?

Problem solved. It turned out to be a corrupted GCT file.
