Any way to replace the characters' voices?

We've seen some great texture mods so far, so why not try to go all the way and replace their voices too? Is it possible with BrawlBox? Or is it a really big process?

It's not possible using an SD card... yet.

It is possible. But it is a very tedious process to replace a characters voice or any sound effect. There are a couple that have been made though, such as the announcer saying "Mewtwo" instead of Lucario. But in order to use the custom sounds you're going to have to use Riivoultion.

D'oh. I have a backup version of Brawl, so Riivolution won't work, even with Darkcorps. And before anyone gets on to me about backups, my Wii stopped playing Brawl a year back, and I live in Pakistan. No chance to get another copy or a repair, save leaving the country, which would be stupid. =|

Oh well. Thanks anyway guys. I'll just wait, then. No doubt progress will be made in the future. Hopefully they'll add Gecko support.

Noooo. Gecko allows you to use codes. But there isn't any gecko codes at the moment that allow replacing sounds.

So basically, you "can" use codes in Riivolution.

Well, yes, I know. I use Gecko to play Brawl Plus, myself, and to use my custom textures. So I guess I should reiterate: I'll wait until they make a (relatively) simple way to replace sound effects. :3

Since you play a backup you can just replace the SFX file directly on your ISO using WiiScrubber.
