So I'm working on a Dedede texture and I put a new picture as the hammer star, but it changes whenever he uses his rocket hammer attack. I opened the eff_dedede_hummer (yes, that IS what it's called) and altered the star on it to the new picture. How do I actually get that to show up?
EDIT: What I mean is that DeDeDe's main texture is one .pac file and his textures that contain the hammer when it's being used is a different .pac file entirely...so how do I get them to work together?

so you edited the star in both the FitDedede.pac And the FitDedede##.pac/pcs?

Yes. do I just have to take the fitDeDeDe.pac and add it to the fighter folder on the SD card? Or will that change the animation for all his skins, not just the green one?

you need the FitDedede.pac in your dedede folder and yes it will change it for all charaters.

your animation pac is named FitDedede02ect.pac? its supposed to be FitDedede.pac. and the other one is a youtube video? O.o

OH CRAP, that was VERY much the wrong link!! Sorry about that! Character .pac fileand I changed the name to FitDeDeDe.pac, it just had that name from the folder I uploaded it from

oh ok. i see the problem now. you forgot to edit the other texture data set in your FitDedede##.pac.

yeah. it goes like this:
ModelData[0] TextureData[0] <-- the one you edited ModelData[10] TextureData[0] <-- the one you need to edit
just edit that seconed one and it should work fine.

Yay, it fixed it! and I actually didn't need the FitDeDeDe.pac file, either. Just needed to change the other texture. Thanks!
