    MY Mom really wants to play her new wii sports resort on the wii, but it says it needs an update, i know im not suppost to or homebrew will go away, so how do it update it without breaking homebrew?

    There are 2 homebrew apps called Startpatch and priiloader. Get either one of those and enable the 'block disc updates' hack. That should keep that annoying message away.

    Or you could have updated the homebrew channel and that wouldn't have gotten removed with the update .... i believe

    there was also a safe updater on smashboards somewhere...idk where but it works but u gotta wait like 15-20 mins.
