Ok, I don't know why but for some reason the textures in Spear Pillar aren't changing. I've edited almost everything yet some of the textures are still the same. Also I want to know how to edit the sky in Spear Pillar because what I'm trying to make requires that I change the sky. Don't tell me that the sky in Spear Pillar can't be edited because I've seen It done before., Register made a Spear Pillar hack that had a different sky color.

Did you edit the stage effects? Or any CLR0 files?

some of the parts are grayscaled, and are most likely the problem. i never figured out how to fix them. i think maybe just the part of the sky that has the stars can be changed. i tried and ended up with a blue box of fail.

I didn't see any CLR0 files, And what do you mean by stage effects? Are they regular textures or something else?

Because theres 3 different spear pillar textures; dialgia palkia and cresselia. make sure you save the .pac file for all 3 of them.
You probably know this, but its always good to double check yourself.

So you're saying that the changes made to one of them won't appear unless I change all of them?

right! theres three different files just like for smashville. the chances of say dialgia loading is 33.33% the same with the other 2. So when you loaded your stage you probably didnt get that one who you saved it over to load. You should save your stage 3 times in the Melee folder as
STGTENGAN_1.PAC STGTENGAN_2.PAC and STGTENGAN_3.PAC

The one I changed is the one for Dialga, I know I'm looking at the right one because I'm watching a replay of a match that had Dialga and some of the textures actually did change. But for some reason, Despite the fact that I changed almost everything, some of the stuff looks the same. I know It's not what I used to edit the TGA's because at first used Gimp, Now I used Photoshop and I'm still having the same problem. But according to what you said I have to include hacked versions of all three just to see the changes in one.

Its the same thing with Spear Pillar and Smashville. You just need to save the files 3 times with the right names.

I was able to see the changed textures in a MK 1-1 stage without needing to have a MK 1-2 stage, And I'm also not seeing the changed textures in a Distant Planet hack I have. Distant Planet only has one .PAC file so what's the explanation for that?

Well the MK 1-2 isnt the same as 1-2, its like a whole different stage. The 3 spear pillars are identical except for the pokemon. So if you only edited the dialgia one, then if it loads palkia and cresselia it'l be the regular stage and only if it loads the dialgia one will it have your texture on it. thats why you save it 3 times.
Distant planet one, idk maybe you named it wrong or something? :/

MK 1-2 isn't the same thing as MK 1-2? Also, I think you misunderstood what I'm saying, I changed the Dialga one and the Dialga one IS the one I'm getting but not all of the textures I changed look different. I thought I made that clear before. I know I'm looking at the right one because I'm watching a replay of a match that had Dialga Also I always name the files correctly. I know I'm using a hacked version because the Bulborb in the Distant Planet hack looks different but that's the only thing that looks different even though the whole stage was changed. By the way I just thought of this, I thought that what version of the file replacement code I'm using might have something to do with It, But It doesn't. I used an earlier version then switched to a newer version but I still got the same problem.

PAVGN he is correct. You have to edit the pokemon in EACH of the 3 .pac files.

That sucks but I don't understand. I don't have a spear pillar hack for Palkia yet when I use Registers Dialga stage I see everything he changed but when I use mine I can't see everything I changed. For example Dialga's Laser, I changed It in my stage but I can't see It, Yet I can see It changed in Registers. Once again I have Spear Pillar hacks for Dialga and Cresselia, But not Palkia. Also that still doesn't explain why I can't see the changed textures in a Distant Planet stage hack I have, One that I didn't make.
