I need this new code to work for this CSS I downloaded, but it wont work! I then noticed all the other codes that came packaged in with that gct didnt work either. But the 5 cheats I had activated before were still working. I tried deleting the GCT and re-entering codes, nothing worked. Whats going on?

Let me explain the whole thing. I dont think you understand, and I cant blame you.
I'm trying to use ASF1nk's flaming blue CSS. I downloaded it, and the bottom 3 rows of characters didnt work, even though I used HIS gct. I then plugged in a second controler and selected characters, and noticed my stage select was in the same tournament order as my last codeset. I even checked the .txt for his gct, that code isnt in there. I then did a 4 minute timed match, and was unable to save it as a replay, even though there was a code in the .gct for this. Also, the character order is not the one shown in the screenshots/video for that css, but my old css order.
The only codes that worked were the ones in my old gct that I replaced.
I double checked, I deleted the GCT and imported ASF1nk's and it still wont work.

Are you positive the GCT is in the right directory? I had a similar problem and for some reason my SD card only reads codes from F:/gecko/codes/RSBE01.gct.

I was putting the .gtc in the Root/codes folder. I'm not at home right now, but I'll put them in "gecko" when I get home. This doesn't, however, explain why my old codes are stil running......

Was there a gct file in the gecko/codes? If so that's why your old codes were loading.

Guess so. I'm pretty stupid, huh?
