Okay, I'm sure this is probably something incredibly simple that everyone but me knows, but I've really gotta know, how in the heck do i know if a .TGA image file is ends in a +1 or +2?

By the question, you can tell I'm new to making textures (in this case, for stages).  I'm using the Stash 1.0 method of doing this, and I'm usually able to get about halfway through the process without problems at all.  It's just that once i edit the parts of the stage I'll be working on, I'll have no clue how to determine if the image ends in +1, +2, or anything else.  Do you look at the folder's name the .TGA file is located in and determine it from that, look at the .TGA file's name itself and determine from that, or is it something completely different I've overlooked?  Any help with this would be greatly appreciated!  >__<

Just use BrawlBox, if you can.

If for some reason you're stuck with STASH... The +1/+2 should be in the name of the tga file. It's been a long time since I dealt with that, so I'm not sure.

Well, the name of one of the tga files I've worked with (which most, if not all of the files are named) is  "tex#00_14.tga"  as a part of Luigi's Mansion.  Would the +1/+2 possibly refer to the "14" of that name maybe?

No. It would clearly say "+1" in the name.

    Use this: http://www.mediafire.com/?tzlzyyn0a3k

It doesn't use any of that +1 or +2 stuff, and its a lot quicker.

I already told him to use BrawlBox, and he ignored me.

Maybe he'll be more receptive now that he's been spoonfed a download. *shrug*

Well, I was just gonna try and keep going with this method, at least until I finished the small test I was doing just to get started.  Since the +1/+2 thing isn't in the files, I'll just go with what the readme said for files that didn't have that.

After all of this, I'll give BrawlBox a shot and just compare the two, even though I've heard BrawlBox is a hell of a lot easier before.

Well...after much annoyance, and even when i went through saving every file individually the way the readme said, I just kind of said, "[censored] it," and downloaded BrawlBox.

As easier to use as it is, I feel a little disappointed I couldn't at least finish up the method I was using before.  I guess it's just in my nature to just finish something all the way through before moving on. -__-

In any case, thank a lot guys for the help and suggestions.
