Hey I am new here and I was following the guide for skin installation
via this Thread http://forums.kc-mm.com/index.php?topic=5.0
and it never specifies if it's for people with the actual game itself(CD), I'm thinking you need to have the
downloaded version of brawl for this to work?
I run Gecko OS and it reads the codes fine but as for the character textures
it doesn't change.I have no idea as to where the custom skins go,
I created new files as an attempt to resolve this  Undecided , for Example
- G:\Private\Wii\App\RSBE\pf\fighter\(Character Name)\Fit(Character Name)(Color #).pcs
I downloaded a skin here(this website) and place it in there
It isn't working and im sad  Sad
Help anyone? Much Appreciated ~

You can use them with your regular Brawl disk and Gecko OS.

If, for example, you're changing one of Ike's costumes, you would put the file in pf\fighter\ike. Then you give it a name depending on which costume you're replacing.

If you're changing Ike's red costume, the complete path would be X:\private\wii\app\rsbe\pf\fighter\ike\FitIke01.pcs

Does it matter if I store this in the same SD card as my
    Gecko OS file?
and would I have to create that entire pathway myself or is it located somewhere?
because that's what I did and
    it isn't working working  :'(

You're not using an SD card over 2 GB, are you? Those won't work with Brawl.
