jet ike by somen00b
[Character - Texture, Vertex, Import, Moveset (PSA) - Ike]



This mod, as its name suggests, gives ike a jetpack. it also gives him a light saber. To compensate, Ike's weight (his resistance to knockback) is reduced.

To use it, hold Y and have the control stick neutral when your falling after using your air jump. Once the jetpack is active, you can control ike's flight with the control stick but you must have the stick neutral at first (until Ike comes to a "stop" in the air) or you will fall.

Ike gets 10 seconds of fuel, and that resets when you touch the ground (assuming that your idle for at least 1 frame on the ground). When ike has 4 or less seconds of fuel left, the thrust effects on the jetpack get smaller.

Install instructions:

fitike jet.pac replaces fighter/ike/fitike.pac

fitike00 jetpack.pcs replaces fighter/ike/fitike00.pcs

fitike01 jetpack.pcs replaces fighter/ike/fitike01.pcs

Fitike jet gives ike the ability to fly.

fitike00 jetpack changes ike's model to have the jetpack and the lightsaber, but only for ike's default costume.

fitike01 jetpack changes ike's model to have the jetpack and the lightsaber, but only for ike's red team costume.

grappler marth by somen00b

*This mod has been previously reported for causing crashes, but I have never personally experienced a crash with it, even in the exact scenario it was reported for: "air side special causes freezing on contact" doesn't crash for me.

This mod enhances marth's moveset with a few new attacks and a grappling "hook". Changes are as follows:

side B (in air only): Marth shoots out an electric grappling hook, and if it hits, he'll be pulled towards the place where it hit. Pressing A disconnects the hook. Marth can grapple onto anything that can be damaged by his hook (characters, damageable stage parts ect.)

neutral B: When not fully charged, Marth will call down lightning bolts in a line if he doesn't hit anything with his sword. When fully charged, marth shoots fire from his sword.

Up B (ground only): Marth spins and creates a whirldwind that protects him from knockback and sometimes (see known bugs) reflects projectiles.

Known bugs:
1. Despite my best efforts to fix it, marth can't reflect things 100% of the time with his whirlwind. If he does reflect something, you'll hear a sound effect.

summoner ike version 1.02 by somen00b with credit to phantomwings (for the plug & play rel)

This mod replaces snake with summoner ike,
who can summon deoxys and samurai goroh with his up and side taunts respectivly.

In this verison, gecko codes are no longer necessary!

However, after you summon, there is a cool down until you can summon again. When a mini magic circle appears around summoner ike's feet, you can summon again.

Though the video doesn't reflect this (its from the original version) the graphic will play more then once.

Known bugs:
1. Some item textures are slightly less detailed, but its barely noticeable most of the time, I had to do that to make room for deoxys and goroh's data.
2. Ocasionally, you won't be able to summon right at the start of a game, this is VERY rare however. I don't know why it happens.

Install instructions:
common3_en replaces system/common3_en
ft_ike Plug&Play v1.2+ snake replaces module/ft_snake
all other fitIke files replace the similaraly named snake file in fighter/snake (e.g. Fitike-->fitsnake Fitike00-->fitsnake00 Fitike01-->fitsnake01 ect)

"random spam" wolf by somen00b

Preforming wolf's up or side taunts will spawn a random number (from 1-4) of random pokemon or assist trophies respectivly. However, this move has a cooldown after you use it. Wolf will flash green when he is ready to summon (again).

Known issues: some trophies and pokemon do not work correctly when spawned this way. In light of this, if the randomly picked troph/pokemon is 1 of the ones that doesn't work, it will be deleted and the move will essentially do nothing.

Smaller size common3_en (for use with making item model/texture edits) by somen00b

You only need this if your a modder/developer!

This common3_en file has most item textures reduced to half size and some reduced further so that you can replace a given item's model, texture, and moveset data with something bigger without hitting the filesize limit brawl has for common3_en (hitting that limit results in a crash on startup). For example, you could replace an item with a pokemon or assist trophy as I have done in some of my other mods.

No screens because it looks [almost] the same as the original common3_en.

New this version:

1. item texture changes are hardly noticeable and do not interfere with gameplay unlike in previous versions

2. smaller filesize for rivolution users

This mod makes zelda into a final fantasy themed
summoner, with the ability to summon ifrit and shiva with her up and side taunts respectivly.

Once you summon, there is a cool down however. If Zelda is ready to summon, there will be a sparkle graphic. The videos are of an oldler version so they won't show the graphic more then once.

Known bugs:
1. Ifrits animations look kinda funny, but with the fire covering his body its hard to notice

2. I had to reduce the size of the item textues to make this mod, but the overall effect is very hard to notice on most items and shouldn't affect gameplay like it did before.

3. DO NOT PLAY COIN MODE!!! I replaced the currency items with the summons so you are guarenteed trouble if you try to play coin mode.

4. This is VERY RARE, but characters can grab the summons before they attack, upon doing so the summon will disapear. I only saw this once however and couldn't recreate it. Perhaps only the AI can abuse this one.

Install instructions:

"common3_en ff summoner 2" replaces system/common3_en.pac

"fitzelda summoner" replaces fighter/zelda/fitzelda.pac

Wolf now has new and upgraded moves inspired by the boss of area 6 (from starfox 64). Changes are as follows

Side taunt: Launches fighters that shoot homing projectiles. Wolf has heavy armor (no knockback from less then x damage I fogot what I made x) while this is happening. The fighters will dissapear after taking a certain amount of damage. can only be used when wolf is flashing green.

Down taunt: Falco:"Watch out fox!" *laser fill the screen* remember that? shoots a powerful laser that damages enemies in a line. Can only be used when wolf is flashing green.


Up/side B: Since the area 6 boss can teleport, wolf does too. wolf can't go through walls (I wish he could) but wolf can't be hit while he's preforming these moves. A small glitch is that if wolf grabs an edge while teleporting, he won't be visible again until he is standing and/or falling through the air, but he can still be hit unless he is doing a teleport move.

Warning: do not play coin mode because I overwrote the currency items!

Installation instructions:

Pit can now charge his arrows for up to 5 seconds, and the charging bonus per frame spent charging is doubled.

Below is the description for the 'flying' portion of the mod mostly copy pasted from my "flying pit" mod.

Note: the 'flying' part of this mod is only active on levels where pit plays his entry animation! This allows pit to hover in the air while idling or aiming his bow. To land, tilt the control stick down and you will fall normally. You gets 1 minute of stored flight time at the start of the match. It doesn't "reset" to 1 minute whenever you touch the ground however. Flight time decreases when you are hovering (except when you are moving down via the control stick) and increases (up to a maximum of 2 mintute stored at a time) while you are standing, running or walking on the ground. When you are ldle in the air or aiming pits bow, his wings will glow blue as long as you have more then 10 second of flight time left.

jedi commander marth fixed by somen00b

edit: fixed a bug where final smash aura would get stuck on after using his final smash.

I take no credit for the models and textures used in this mod!

This mod changes marth into a jedi commander (The videos are of the old version that was over snake, since the features are the same)

The commander retains all of marth's moves except his final smash and has the ability to call in an arc170[starfighter] for a bombing run with his up taunt and a squad of clone troopers for backup with his side taunt. However, these moves have a cooldown. When the taunt based moves are ready, he will flash blue. The clone troopers are damage-able and have 10 hp each. His new final smash calls 3 arc170s at once. Also, his neutral A move deflects certain projectiles.

Known bugs:
1. Having too many clone troopers out at once (over 4 at a time I think) will crash the game.
2. Do not play coin mode, as I overwrote the coin data to make this mod.
4. The jedi commader's weighting isn't perfect. I'll fix it eventually.

*This version fixes the fox illusion crash*

I take no credit for the imported models used in this mod!

This mod gives fox 2 new weapons, a sword and another gun. To access them, do fox's side taunt and hold A for the sword and B for the new gun (holding neither returns it to normal).

The sword changes 3 of fox's moves, side B is now a spin attack of sorts, neutral B is now a sword projectile, and forward smash is now a sword move as well.

The gun changes fox's neutral B to firing minimally charged super scope shots and his side B to a slow but powerful bobomb launcher.

Known bugs:
1. The animations can look funny for about a second when you finish with the bobomb launcher, I had to do it that way to fix a much worse bug.

This mod gives link golden wings (they even flap when he jumps), allows him to air jump slightly higher but makes him slightly less resistant to knockback and changes his special moves slightly.

UpB: When done on the ground, releases homing fireballs, if they are charged up. (Link wil play a fire graphic while idle if that is the case although this is not shown in the video).

NeutralB: Bow is now strung faster

SideB: Unchanged

DownB: Instead of grabbing a bomb, phoenix link defends himself with fire, meaning that he will be untouchable and reflect projectiles for a short time (about the same as ike's counter window). Also, nearby enemies will get burned slightly.

known bug:
1. If you grab someone, you cannot throw them for some reason (they will eventually break free).

This mod makes zelda into a final fantasy themed

I may make an alternate version where you "build up" summoning power by attacking your foes and consume it to summon, if there is demand for it.

Known bugs:
1. Ifrits animations look kinda funny, but with the fire covering his body its hard to notice

2. I had to delete alot of item textures to make room for ifrit and shiva in common3_en.pac. Thus most items will have weird textures.

This moveset fixes ike's sword hitboxes so they are buster blader sized and improves the neutral B and down B moves slightly on top of that.
