Megaman X on Samus + AIle ZSS by Waveshocker Sigma, Stoney, lookitslink, Uncle0wnage
[Character-ModelTexture-Samus]

The Megaman vertex hack ported to work on Samus with an enhanced Aile ZSS to go along with it. :3

Same glitch as the ported Master Chief, you have to grab up close like everyone else in the game.

Ayla (Ver. 2.0) by Stoney with credit to LenSho and Chrono Trigger
[Character-ModelTexture-Peach]

About a year ago I created a large batch of character textures that were inspired by the SNES/DS game Chrono Trigger. Unfortunately, some of the textures were rushed and had flaws. Now I'm finally getting around to fixing them while taking advantage of the vertex hacks now available.

Meet Ayla 2.0, now with 50% less clothing and 100% less white lines.

The pack contains 6 costumes (default, red, green, blue, Lucca, Marle) and a complete set of portraits, including victory screen portraits, in-battle portraits, and everything needed to modify the CSS.

I put some completed files in the CSS section with all the CSS portraits and other stuff (such as Ayla's name) already installed. These files were taken from a PAL copy of Brawl; if you're playing NTSC Brawl, I recommend that you not use them in your game, and manually insert the included PNGs into a separate copy of the files taken from your NTSC version. You can open up the PAL files with BrawlBox and use them as a guide to see where the PNGs go.

Alternatively, you can ignore me and use the PAL files in your NTSC copy - just make sure to back up the files you're replacing first.

All credit for the vertex hack goes to LenSho and his Cycler Outfit Rosalina. Thanks dude!

Complete Stage Select Screen Font by Stoney with credit to BeyondYou
[Misc--Menu]

The mediafire download is the full-size version.

The original Brawl SSS Alphabet only had capital letters and numbers. I added lowercase letters, symbols, and punctuation marks to it. Now you can give your stages names like "@#*%" or "?!?!?".

Angel Island Zone: Stage Select Screen Pack by Stoney
[Misc--Menu]

5/16/10: DOWNLOAD HAS BEEN FIXED.

This pack contains all of the files needed to change the Stage Select Screen while using the Angel Island Zone stage hack over Rumble Falls. All of the textures go in the MiscData[80] section inside the "sc_selmap.pac" file. Several icons and preview images are included. Choose your favorites.

If you don't feel like inserting the custom textures yourself, I've included a finished "sc_selmap.pac" file that is ready for putting on an SD card. EDIT 5/5/2010: The pack now contains both PAL and NTSC versions of the file.

Time Warp: Stage Select Screen Pack by Stoney
[Misc--Menu]

This pack contains all of the files needed to change the Stage Select Screen while using the Time Warp stage hack over Final Destination.

Download the Time Warp stage hack here:
http://forums.kc-mm.com/Gallery/BrawlView.php?Number=2726&Moderated=All

UPDATE 5/4/2010: The lowercase title image I included in the pack (it displays the name of the stage beneath the preview image) had an error; the words "Time" and "Warp" were way too close together. I fixed the PNG so the title looks more similar to how all the other stage titles are spaced. Download the fixed version here: http://www.mediafire.com/?nt5y4ynfnlz

Gusty Garden Galaxy: "White Feather in the Storm" Remix by Stoney with credit to CarboHydroM
[Audio-BSTRM (Music) Looped]

For my 50th overall hack, I couldn't think of a better candidate than this song. It's a kickass punk rock remix of everyone's favorite BGM from Super Mario Galaxy!

Please note that although there was a version of this song submitted to Smashboards, it had a gap of silence between the end and beginning of the song; this version is looped seamlessly. Enjoy!

Here's a hilarious little piece of music that every Star Wars fan will love; it is composed entirely from sound clips in the original trilogy.

Star Wars Suite: Rock Version by Stoney with credit to Symphony X and John Williams
[Audio-BSTRM (Music) Looped]

The "Star Wars Suite" was a single piece of music that was sampled from throughout the first Star Wars film; as such, it contains all the musical themes heard in that movie. This rock version of it features some excellent electric guitar and synthesizer elements by the mysterious Symphony X.

Star Wars Tribute: "John Williams Is the Man" Medley by Stoney with credit to Corey Vidal and Moosebutter
[Audio-BSTRM (Music) Looped]

One of the best compilations of Star Wars music I have ever heard. Corey Vidal recorded himself singing lyrics to the music multiple times in order to create a one-man a capella group. Watching the preview video on YouTube itself is strongly encouraged, as it contains captions with lyrics over there.

Starlight Zone: "Lightning Star" Remix by Stoney with credit to JAXX and OverClocked ReMix
[Audio-BSTRM (Music) Looped]

This song shifts between Hard Rock at the beginning and Smooth Jazz about midway through. It provides some nice variety in musical styles while still retaining the same overall theme. Recommended for any stage that has nighttime scenery, such as Battlefield, Smashville, or Port Town Aero Dive.

Twinkle Park / It Doesn't Matter: "The Twinkle Park Classic" Remix by Stoney with credit to DarkeSword and OverClocked ReMix
[Audio-BSTRM (Music) Looped]

Even before Darkesword became a judge who helped determine which remixes get featured on the OverClocked ReMix site, he was still one of my favorite composers. We apparently share the exact same tastes in music, and with the level of skill he displays it is unsurprising that he has gotten to his current position.

The Twinkle Park Classic is one of his earlier mixes and is a fairly laid-back electronica trance rendition of the Twinkle Park cart section (which itself was lifted from Panic Puppet Zone in Sonic 3D Blast). Also included is the lovely-as-always It Doesn't Matter, the theme of Sonic. Try putting this song on a stage with a lot of bright flashy lights; Port Town Zero Dive is recommended.

Boss Medley: "The Genius of Dr. Robotnik" by Stoney with credit to The Red Wings
[Audio-BSTRM (Music) Looped]

If you've ever felt that there just wasn't enough Robotnik in your life, this is the song for you. It combines the boss themes from Sonic 1, Sonic 2, and Sonic 3 & Knuckles into one singular electric-guitar remix that kicks all sorts of blue hedgehog butt. Try replacing Porky's Theme with it and then fighting him in the Subspace Emissary!

Knuckles' Themes: "Unknown from M.C." Remix by Stoney with credit to Jose Bronx Rican and OverClocked ReMix
[Audio-BSTRM (Music) Looped]

Hey guys, I heard you liked Knuckles' rap, so I looped a remix that combines all the rapping he did in SA2 into one song. It uses Wild Canyon's melody as the base for its chorus, but the lyrics come from Knuckles' theme and all of his levels. Many of the lyrics have been modified by the author to be less cheesy and more badass.

Use this song on whichever level you feel could benefit most from a gangsta echidna's words of wisdom.

Sandopolis Zone: "The Sandland" Remix by Stoney with credit to Dr. Manhattan

Here's an excellent hard rock remix of Sandopolis Zone that sticks close to the source material. It's a great match for Mushroomy Kingdom World 1-1.

Marble Garden Zone: "Knuckleduster" Remix by Stoney with credit to Daniel Baranowsky, Project Chaos, and OverClocked ReMix
[Audio-BSTRM (Music) Looped]

"Project Chaos" was a wildly successful attempt to re-imagine the entire soundtrack for the Genesis game Sonic 3 & Knuckles. This particular track uses incomprehensible lyrics alongside some nifty piano and orchestral elements. It gave me new appreciation for the original Marble Garden Zone BGM, which I hadn't cared for previously.

[Audio-BSTRM (Music) Looped]

Synchrnzr made this rockin' electric guitar remix of Metropolis Zone that stays pretty faithful to the original BGM. Good for any mechanical stage.

Wrapped in Black by Stoney with credit to DiMPS
[Audio-BSTRM (Music) Looped]

There was a version of this song over at Smashboards, but it had a noticeable seam in the looping, so I've created a seamless version.

Original BGM ripped straight from the game's OST. Too black, too strong.

Dire Dire Docks: "Sunken Suite" Remix by Stoney with credit to DJ Pretzel and OverClocked ReMix
[Audio-BSTRM (Music) Looped]

DJ Pretzel is the owner and founder of OverClocked Remix. Surprise surprise, he himself is a remixer, and a darn good one at that. He displays his skills with piano and orchestra elements in this majestic rendition of my favorite stage BGM from Super Mario 64. Warning: although it is quiet at first, the song will suddenly get loud at its climax. I did my best to regulate the volume of the BRSTM so the volume increase isn't quite so abrupt, making the song less of a distraction in battle.

Super Mario 64 Credits: Rock Remix by Stoney with credit to The Red Wings
[Audio-BSTRM (Music) Looped]

The Red Wings are a video game music cover band comprised of three punk rockers from Birmingham, England. Ever since 2006, they've been re-arranging their favorite video game tunes for the rock genre using a combination of keyboard synths, bass, drums, and of course electric guitar.

One of my favorite tunes from Super Mario 64 was the song in the credits sequence. For me, it brought a wonderful sense of closure to the fantastic adventure that Super Mario 64 was. Unfortunately, not everyone shares my view, and decent remixes of the song are surprisingly hard to find. Leave it to the Red Wings to solve that problem.

Carol of the Bells: Rock Version by Stoney with credit to the Trans-Siberia Orchestra
[Audio-BSTRM (Music) Looped]

Who knew Christmas could rock so much?

The Trans-Siberian Orchestra is well-known for combining orchestra elements with modern rock instruments such as drums, bass and electric guitar, and this song is no exception. It is wonderful background music for fast-paced battles and I'd recommend it for any Christmas-themed stage hacks you may have. If you don't have any, try putting it on Smashville; that stage has festive lights strung up all over the place.

Robo's Theme: "The Incredible Singing Robot" Remix by Stoney with credit to Star Salzman and OverClocked Remix
[Audio-BSTRM (Music) Looped]

Here's an appropriately techno-ish rendition of the theme for Chrono Trigger's resident robot. This song is filled to the brim with English vocals and 1980's flavoring, and it never fails to make me smile.

Fun Fact: this song is responsible for at least 45% of the marriage proposals Star Salzman has received to date. The other 55% are thanks to his "Dreams Come True" remix of the Mega Man X credits BGM.
