Basically what needs to be done is a pcs must be manually be made, then named back the sc_title_en.pac for it to work with brawl or so I believe if I am wrong someone please correct me

Well I burnt an Iso jhust to try it and is froze, If I upload the sc_title.pac will any of you convert it to it's _en format? I edited the pac with smashbox because ash couldn't handle one of the tga's and there was a mipmap needed for a texture I couldn't fix when I manually hexxed it, might that have anything to do with smashbox or no.

I kept the _en I had to Ntcompress the pac to a pcs and then rename it to an _en.pac and then it worked perfectly from what smashbox says, but it could be wrong I'm not sure/

Ok so I got the right textures replaced for both, I have the all in the correct place but the new title screen refuses to load, any ideas?

It came out 13.2 MB when I NTcompressed it, that's weird oh and just so everyone knows the original file size is 2.36 mb

I edited both the title_en.brres and the sc_title.pac (I lzz7exed from sc_title_en.pac this to extract the tga's in ash) I need to know where and how to apply these on the SD card so the title screen will change, or do I have to convert the sc_title.pac back to sc_title_en.pac. Any advice anyone?

nvm it's an indexed texture and when I followed picano's guide I do it right, but I still get the same error

No but when I try to mip map a texture and run it through Tex Conv I get a this error:

TCCheckMipMapConvParams: image 0 invalid output format for mipmapping

I've tried editing this grenade multiple times, still same error. Should I try manually hexing it together, that might be a good alternative

I would recommend using SSBBinsert.exe. That doesnt fail me on items.

Not quite sure where to get that, I try searching for it all the time

Why are you even touching ef_ike.pac? That file doesn't do anything.


It's because when I edit FItIke.pac by itself nothing happened, and no they both have the same texture

In an attempt to edit the fire for Ike I realized there were 2 different pacs for that, I copied and pasted the first edited fire texture into the folder for the second. The 2 pacs I  used were ef_ike.pac, which was edited by ash. And FitIke.pac which involved ASH and SSBBinsert. The combonation of using these to textures made Ike go into T-stance in any single mode, and have the game freeze in any multiplayer. Any ideas?

When editing snake's grenades I have to re-insert the 064.pac into the 003.pac when I do that the cmd prompt gives me this error

I have used an followed VILE's guide quite accuratley and I keep getting this error, is there any way to fix this. Is it something with the indexing I've tried 100 (Local Perceptual) and 224 (Local Perceptual) 224 is max colors allowed. Please if anyone knows any thing help me solve this?
