61  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Model Imports / Re: WIP Workshop on: March 12, 2016, 08:20:49 PM
can u do a tutorial on this?

SURE.

Grab a beautiful little light off of a stage you like, smack it onto a character you want, move/scale it's vertices if necessary. That's what I did. Lips Sealed

This kinda looks better in brawlbox than in-game, still it looks cool in-game...Just not that noticeable depending on it's size.

OK! Sm4sh Ridley...

I'll be using the bones from Smash 4 since because...Hey, let's be honest,
why do I need to re-rig the whole model when it's already rigged? So, I just re-named the necessary bones that will be used in the custom animations. As for the extra bones, they will be named just like the bones in Brawl but, won't be used unless someone wants to use them for extra model parts animations.
Not to mention I'm already rigging a model that's gonna be used for posing render purposes only.

I'm only going to see if I can really use the Smash 4 bones. If I can't, then...shame on... whoever... Lips Sealed

Now that, LOOKS AWESOME, i see by how he grabs the sword that is a PSA? i hope it is

It's one of my best modified Gray Fox PSA from Eternal Yoshi's (R.I.P "EternalYoshi") PSA.
I have some animations polished up the best way I can. Also, I've improved the lighting of his helmet's eye.

This is what happens when I get bored.

New feature for Gray Fox.

Only I can make the best edge lord.

I just know that this model is still Sonic with some vertex edits.
Nobody wants to use the Generations model...

Hey, folks. Here's an idea for Ridley.

Why not use the SSB4 model for PM Ridley? "Why" you ask?
Here's why.

The Smash 4 Ridley has original textures, a descent low poly count than PM Ridley, but also,
the texture image is weird as hell...that's the only weakness for Smash 4 Ridley.

It's WEIRD!

This model on the other hand, has no respect for other characters/stages certain textures, has at least over 5,000 more polys than the Smash 4 Ridley, the model looks good but, not as traditional to Smash 4 Ridley.

Just think, with the same optimizing as PM Ridley this could be so much enjoyable.
And what's even more enjoyable, is that I'm prepared to upload a VBrawl compatible PM Ridley PSA so that
Non-Project M users can have some fun with Ridley too. This PSA also has the proper AI to use Ridley and it uses version 2.2 of the PM version.
Only one weakness to the PSA, there's no Side "B" move so, it is now the neutral "B" move because it crashes the game. (At least not for Project M) That may needs to be re-coded by the person who originally coded it.  All that stuff will be explained in the release.

Oooooh. Welp. I'd still take it.

We'll see what happens then. Lips Sealed

What do you mean by "too many unwanted edits"? I've already gone through your first rigged scarf one and completely re-edited my animations into it. I even added some new animations for the scarf on the animations already in there. I may be in the minority... but I would totally get that new Nisa... since I'm using her now.

By "Unwanted" I mean I've made bone edits, that means I also moved Sheiks' ponytail bones around in the moveset file and on the model, and if people want to use this Nisa model with a moveset they desire, they're gonna have to change some bone id's around in the moveset file. But what if that moveset can't be opened/edited in Brawlbox? That's the definition of "Unwanted edits". So if I upload this, it'll require the PSA and fitmotion files just so things can work properly...UNLESS if this was a moveset based off of Hyperdimension Neptunia Mk2, then this will be a "Must Have" hack. Catch my drift?

All she has is final smash eyes which completes her awesomeness...

I'm just struggling so much with the scarf and hair issues. The scarf just rotates a little too much and too awkward (Maybe because of the physics and it's translation?) in most animations. Her hair...I dunno, it's not too much trouble though.

Difference is:

1. Her whole body is untouched, not resized or edited in a nasty way or unwanted way whatever you wanna call it.

2. Yes, the sides of her hair are rigged.

3. scarf rig isn't better than my old rigged version of her

4. And the big difference is I won't upload this in the vault, too many unwanted edits to the fitmotion.
Nobody wants to do the work...

Can anyone tell the difference?

71  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Programming / Re: Perfect .Rel porting Progress -Lucario is first Pack. Ganon is new .rel- on: October 08, 2015, 10:17:46 AM
Is there any way of having the .rel ported character's SFX to keep loading?
I got Marth over Wario, and the SFX of the PSA (I edited it in brawlbox 68b, I changed the sound data lists from Marth to Wario's) plays all the time...it will always load if you don't choose another character and/or costume for whatever character. So basically, the first time you load the characters you want to battle, YOU CAN'T change anything else like characters or costumes or else the .rel ported character's SFX will mute the entire game unless you RESTART your game.

74  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Model Imports / Re: WIP Workshop on: August 29, 2015, 04:34:44 PM
decided to re-attempt this guy since I lost him do to a computer crash(BSOD) last time

managed to get this 41k model within brawl's limit(18k), currently optimizing the head so that he's lagless. has expressions, FS eyes, and will come with the usual material stuff. recolors are classic, x-force(white), x-men, x-men alt, ultimate, underwear(fan service), no mask, the punisher, and green lantern.

just wish the latest ver. of the psa wasn't broken. Sad

I was just about to pick up your work. I just finished T-posing him months ago but, I see you did a better job than me. Plus the optimizing.
75  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Model Imports / Re: WIP Workshop on: August 26, 2015, 10:52:45 AM
I'm no expert, but did the eyes have separate UVs for the left and right eye?

Yes, yes it did.
