I'm in the process of creating a "vertexture" hack of Peach, turning her into the female rival from the new Pokemon games, but I've hit a bit of a problem.
The way I've set it up is that I'm using Peach's earrings as part of her hair, and the crown and one of the gems as her hat. However, ingame these are shiny/metallic, and so they look really weird.
Is there any way to remove the shininess from these?
I'm sorry if this has been covered. I tried searching but couldn't find anything.
Can anyone instruct me how to delete (or shrink to nothingness) polygons? I'm trying to get rid of 5 polygons on Peach (0, 3, 4, 5, and 30) and 3 on Zelda (1, 12, and 30), but I have no clue what to do.
I'm having some problems with Rainbow Cruise. Namely, the sky(/water) and any of the +2 textures.
I'm trying to turn RC into a wintery night kind of deal, and I would like to know if there is a way to alter the color of the sky into a very dark blue. I'm also curious on how transparencies work on +2 textures, because they don't seem to do anything, even with indexing. (Using Photoshop CS2) I'm trying to eliminate the rainbow and make the trees in the back wintery, but the rainbow is still there and the trees have no transparencies.
Neat, I can't wait. Tales of Symphonia is one of my favorite GCN games, I still have the poster thingy for preordering. (Though I do recall the preorder bonus was supposed to be an artbook...)
I'm hoping the upcoming Tales of Graces will be just as good, if not better.
Well, it is easier to recover, outside of the fire form. You said that there's now sound for most of the moves, yet I found there to be only sound for some. Also, I can't remember which ones exactly, but some moves have rather awkward hitboxes.
The insta-bolganone (landing while holding B in fire form) still kinda breaks him...
(Perhaps you can turn the right side so that it doesn't look like an M. You needn't. Only if it doesn't take long and you like to do it. Doesn't matter if you don't.)
I would have done that, but with Marth's face texture, it's basically mirrored for both sides. Most textures use mirroring, it's quite annoying.
Oh, and even though some moves do seem either overpowered, underpowered, or just weird to control, I found this to be INCREDIBLY fun to use, and one of my favorite PSAs ever.
I did find two glitches though. In the fire form, pressing B in the air has him charge normally, but nothing happens until he lands, in which it does the Rexcalibur animation with no hitboxes. If you hold B in the air, when he lands it pretty much just does the ending animation of Bolganone, with the same hitboxes, but with a muchly enhanced knockback, killing at 0%. It's quite easy to spam this.
A minor complaint also, but recovery is just weird. For wind and thunder forms, I find it hard to control since you can't do diagonals, and with the thunder form, you need to be quick to get it right, otherwise you'll just whiff it. The fire form's up B I feel is just too slow, and would also benefit from directional input. It's fairly easy to gimp this.
Unless if asked (or complained to) otherwise, consider this to be the final version.
If you want, I can make a video showing the new moves and stuff and put it on YouTube.
Edits: I might try making a CSP as well.
Yay for edits: Do you want me to change the sword back to normal? I changed pretty much all of it so that it looks like part of his belt like you requested, but after reading your post I'm just not sure if the sword should be brown anymore. <_<
Actually I could try to give the sword a more original design, if you want.
