Due to Google changing some [censored], making the link for the PAL files in the Resources tab lead to a webpage for people to request access to the files, I deleted and reuploaded them. This way, I stop getting my inbox spammed with email requests. Unfortunately, the link in the Resources tab will just lead to a 404 error until one of the admins updates it.
"Perfect translation skills" isn't really a thing that exists. So the more skillful the better.
However, China currently ranks 70th (0.02%) in terms of visits on this website. I don't think a Mandarin translation of the rules will be necessary.
Spanish translation is okay since we do have a bunch of traffic and users from Mexico and other central/south America countries. (And maybe Japanese. Maybe.)
I said Spanish and English because Spanish is the most spoken language of America (only a few countries excluded). Most part of the American population speaks Spanish. The other common language being English (specially Canada and U.S.A.)
That's correct. However, you did say that English and Spanish were the most spoken languages in the world.
I still didn't have my question answered yet. Do we need perfect translating skills, or is it just recommended?
...English and Spanish are the 2 most spoken languages in the world.
Actually, the 2 most commonly spoken languages in the world are English and Chinese. (This is coming from someone who is currently in Mandarin 3)
Spanish, on the other hand, is the 4th most spoken language in the world.
Anyways, I never knew we were allowed to post translations. Do the translations have to be perfect? I was planning on posting a Chinese translation of the rules, but I'm only in Mandarin 3, so my translations might not be as good.
I apologize if this isn't the correct place to post this, but I uploaded a few hacks about a month ago, and they are still pending. However, some of my other hacks have been getting through.
I think you're misinterpreting what the currently stickied thread was doing. It gathered requests in a central place so that anyone who felt like fulfilling some could easily see what people were asking for. It was meant to cut down on the number of request threads. It was not my personal thread.
Oh, whoops. Sorry, I forgot to be more descriptive in my last post. I thought your thread had the same purpose as mine, other than to reduce the number of threads, which was so that people can still post their requests.
My bad. Also, I didn't mean to imply your thread as being a personal thread.
Okay i really need help. i have a new SD Card and got Arko's Project m Build, it uh, loads fine but when i go to a stage no matter the character when it says "Ready!" It freezes and makes a buzzing sound i tried with 3 other SD Cards, same build and it always does this i even tried with the "Super Smash Bros LEGACY hack and it still does this please help. -Sanada
How large is your SD Card? It should only be 2 GB. Also, use Riivolution, if you hadn't already used Gecko. Is your version of Brawl NTSC or PAL?
So I have The Homebrew Channel and Gecko OS installed on my SD card and everything is working just fine. I start up Brawl one time and then turn off the Wii. I then put my SD card back into my computer to put on some hacks, but under the "private" folder of the SD card there is "wii". But when I open "wii" there is nothing in there. So I have t create the folders myself or is there a way to make them appear
common5.pac is known to cause crashes and problems. From what ive been told, crashes from common5 are usually caused from too many files (not enough space) but i could be wrong. Maybe try deleting one or two of the stages? (Make sure to back it up just incase that dosent fix the problem.)
Like he said, this might be the problem. I dealt with this problem, as well, and I found that deleting some of the files actually fixes it.
Imgur shouldn't. If everything goes to crap, use TinyPic. TinyPic seems to be going strong. If TinyPic doesn't work, use PostImage.
PostImage has always done right, for me.
PostImage for png's. (Transparent) TinyPic for Gif's. (Animated)
I have been seeing a lot of images that were uploaded to TinyPic, and most of those images were deleted. So, I guess if Imgur decides to go from free-to-upload to pay-to-upload, then maybe PostImage will work.
