Wow, it got quiet in here.

What do you guys think of the new texture?

47  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Model Imports / Re: [General] Custom made models on: September 30, 2013, 01:48:54 PM
What? NOTHING!?

....Need a rigger?

As much as I want to do it myself, i'm pretty sure I would never finish it.

If you want to rig him and what not then sure. I just want to fix up a few rough edges and whatnot.
48  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Model Imports / Re: [General] Custom made models on: September 29, 2013, 07:33:53 PM
That looks great, I think it would be a good idea to use "mesh smooth" on some parts around the face to give it a softer/smoother look Grin

I would stay away from mesh smooth. If you are trying to add more polys to make it smooth, then use the HSDS modifier.

EDIT:

Anyway, made this. Not really planning on doing anything with him though.
He is mostly done. I just ave to tweak a few parts.

I used the lowpoly model as a base.

Thanks. guys. I'm sure this won't take long now.

i'm gonna try to replace Fox's blaster and ship with Ratchet's and maybe replace the landmaster with another tank from one of the R&C games. I'm not sure which one though.

[what do you guys think of Ace Hardlight? I wasn't originally going to import him, but now I want to after seeing these textures that lurking leanne made
old textures are on the right

I'll work on him after Ratchet is finished and he will go over snake unless anyone else has a better idea.

Oh jeez it's been a long time. i'm still working on Ratchet though.
redoing his rig with the proper ripped models from the games.

he's even getting a new texture

Thanks to lurking-leanne from deviant art for working on a hd texture for him.

Oh ok, now I remember. That's the part I had most trouble with. I think I tried to rig the top part of the cape and the shoulder pads in a way the they move with the shoulders. I know what you're talking about though.

Well if you need me to do some extra work on his model, let me know.
I'll be more than happy to help.
52  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Attacks and Animations / Re: Tabuu's PSAs. Updates and lots of them. on: August 16, 2013, 07:29:16 PM
Naw, I couldn't impose. I have a bit of trouble with his shoulder pads, though. It's very easy to clip through them with his arms. D: But no, you've done enough. Smiley
Did I not rig them to their own bones? Even if I did decide to rig him it would probably take months to complete. I'm pretty sure I have his .max file somewhere on my External HDD though.
53  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Attacks and Animations / Re: Tabuu's PSAs. Updates and lots of them. on: August 16, 2013, 07:17:42 PM
The more I see him, the more I feel like I can give him a better rig. .-.

Great animation though. Texture looks really nice too.
It's probably why I can see some of those rigging errors.

I finished t-posing and did a basic rig on Pipo Snake.
I plan to try to give him a size mod so he is about half the size of snake like so

Also no screens yet, but thanks to Iwvi, Ratchet is now one-slot. I just have to edit the rest of Ratchet's costumes.
55  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Model Imports / Re: WIP Workshop on: August 05, 2013, 06:34:14 PM
I mother[censored]ing love you Im srs here No homo Tongue
I always wanted to make him. And now its almost done!
Over diddy or snake? or both? Shocked

Glad somebody is excited for it. I finished mapping out the UVs and am now t-posing him for rigging.
He looks much better now.

I want to put him over snake with a size mod for sure. I haven't thought about diddy since snake already seems like a perfect match for him

also anybody want to give him snake's higher res textures? pipo Snake's textures are literally 64x64
56  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Model Imports / Re: WIP Workshop on: August 01, 2013, 03:23:35 PM
While I await to see if lwvi can help make ratchet one-slot, I thought I should work on something small.

I'm still working on mapping the textures but it shouldn't take long.
57  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Model Imports / Re: WIP Workshop on: July 26, 2013, 08:52:55 PM
olimar and louies trophy model use the same textures i just cant seem to get his helmet to work in-game http://www.mediafire.com/download/m6epcl2xu8pwl4z/FitPikmin03.pcs heres a link if some one wants to help.

Did you try copying the material and shader that olimar uses for the helmet?
58  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Model Imports / Re: WIP Workshop on: July 26, 2013, 06:58:18 PM
Demonboy. NEVER edit the leg bones of model imports. You'll have him go below the ground and doing odd stuff. You should have resiszed the whole model so that legs match (forget about the rest for now), then use bone edits on the waistN/bustN bones to resize bones to match his upperbody. That way it wouldn't mess his grip on the floor and sounds more simple than editing 30 bones. If after this, he ends up being bigger than he should (it will happen) then you use the usual whole body resizing. Then you'd be using only 2 bone edits (which makes it easier to not screw bone indexes).
Yeah I noticed that. I'm just not sure how to get ratchet to fit without him having odd proportions.
Maybe i'm just making things more complicated than they have to be.
Think you could help me out here? I'm totally fine with redoing the rigging if I can make him one-slot.
59  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Model Imports / Re: WIP Workshop on: July 26, 2013, 05:17:23 PM

It actually might not be too difficult to give him one-slot big hands, Demon. I can help with that once you're finished with everything else, if you want.

It's not just the hands that I edited. If it was then I think I could have easily made him one-slot.
The problem I think is that ratchet is the same height as Fox but has smaller legs so I edited the hips along with all of his leg bones too.
The way I have everything now, I think I edited about 25-30 bones. If you want to take a crack at simplifying my mess go ahead.

Anyway,
I redid Ratchets hurt face along with redoing the rigging for his mouth. It's not that noticeable but I made more of his mouth move a little when he open his mouth. ( Cheeks and upperlip move a little when he opens his mouth.)

Yo, Sorry if this sounds stupid, but I can't figure out how to nullify the shaders on an object. I remember doing this before on an older version of brawlbox, but it seems you changed a few things around since the last time I used it.

I want to make something look like its glowing btw.
