I got a link to a few reuploads someone posted. I can link those if you want.
Sounds good!

Windhunter is currently busy with requests, and we still need one or more animators.
Well, I'm working on my own PSA for Mario at the moment and I'm still trying to get the hang of the animation and stuff. But I think I could be able to help with it once I get used to things!

So, how's this project been going so far? I haven't really checked it out in a while.

Nice, gonna check out what franchise to go for next ^^

Also, question: Should we add in movesets based off of SF64's multiplayer as well? If so Fox, Falco and Wolf would run at the same speed and have only homing launchers.
I would at least incorperate the homing launchers into their movesets somehow. Basing the entire thing off of one weapon doesn't sound like it would work very well.

If there are any story limitations to these ideas, let me know.
Nah, you're good.

Also, should we incorporate moves not from Kirby's Air Ride for Meta Knight?
Probably. Air Ride Meta Knight doesn't have a whole lot of "attacks" to go off of. He just sorta flies around and swings his sword every once in a while.

Alright, so next up is Kirby, MK and DDD. Question is, should we remove Kirby's down B and Forward B, since those are copy abilities he could never use at the same time?
That would probably be necessary. The problem is, what could you replace them with?

But, if you want to get sort of specific and/or lazy, Kirby DOES have a copy ability from Kirby and the Amazing Mirror that's literally just his Smash Bros moveset...

As for associating Luigi with lightning or wind, I honestly remember Luigi as always being a mostly-clone of Mario in any game.
I probably should've worded what I said better, since I just realized he's only associated with those things in a select few spinnoff games.

In general, yes. He is mostly a Mario clone, but Luigi is associated with wind and lightning things in a few non-platfromer games. Such as M&L Superstar Saga with his Thunderhand ability and a few of the sports games as his Mega Strike in Mario Strikers Charged or his Special moves from Mario Super Sluggers.

Added a few abilities for Donkey Kong! Gonna see what I can find for Luigi next ^^
Well, the Poltergust is a must-have. But I think I remember hearing something about it not being possible to incorperate it into Luigi's moveset files or something. Also, in most of the Spinoff games, Luigi is usually associated with either lightning or wind. This is more or less something to keep in mind.

No problem Smiley

By the way, should we include the spin-off games for moveset ideas? Like Power Tennis; Strikers and such
I don't see why not. There's some cool stuff to use from those games.

Yeah, that's what I had in mind.
Oh, that's way better than what I pictured. Sorry for the misunderstanding!

New Side B: He slams down at the ground and a cannon comes down, which he jumps into and launches out of.
To be honest, this sounds like it would be too slow of a move. I might just have the wrong idea of what you're talking about, but I feel like this would become DK's equivalent to the Falcon Punch. Where you have to be at just the right distance and have just the right timing, otherwise you're gonna get attacked before you can finish the move.

He needed a fire flower in Galaxy, but other than that yeah, he did have the ability to use fire without a FF in SM RPG: LOTSS, that's true.
Mario always seems to have been associated with fire. Like, he's got the Firebrand ability from M&L: Superstar Saga, he can light stuff on fire without any real effort in the Sports games, And, if you really want to stretch it, he and Luigi can throw fireballs without a Fire Flower in Mario Kart Double Dash. But that was more of a "special move" thing since it would shoot multiple fireballs at once and they could only do it if they got it from an item box.

Also, wasn't Super Mario Galaxy the latest Mario game before SSBB came out? If so, it's safe to assume it's SMG Mario who's in Brawl. Should we give him a SMG based moveset?
Yep. Brawl was 2008 and Mario Galaxy was 2007. So, If you wanted to give him a SMG based moveset, then you could.

I know for a fact I'm putting some Galaxy content in the moveset I'm making for Mario. But I'm not basing my moveset entirely around Galaxy and I already kinda suck at coming up with moves, so I dunno if I could give you any ideas.

I'm actually working on some PSA's with a similar goal as this project. We actually seem to have some similar ideas in terms of stuff like the Mother characters and their PSI moves.

I sort of want to help, but I might not since this project seems to be a bit more "Full-scale" than what I plan on doing. Also, the movesets I'm making are for Project M and I dunno if you plan on using that or just regular Brawl or something.

In terms of suggestions, I have two ideas you could maybe consider.

- Mach Tornado seems like it's sort of supposed to be Meta Knight's "Ultimate attack". So I would probably make it a final smash and not his standard special.

- As for the Zelda characters, Hyrule Warriors has some AWESOME moves in stuff that would be great for Smash. I know HW technically isn't canon, but it's at least something to consider. Also, making Ganondorf twice the size of Link might not translate well into Smash Bros.

Well, it's fine if you want to make him taller, I just think making him literally twice the size as Link seems a bit excessive.
