Is there a way to "fix" the model so it works with Project M? I'd love to add it to my build but the hand paws look kinda funky.

I'm not sure how to fix it.  I'll figure it out once I get everything I want done with Noah's alpha.

I meant to say something earlier, but this is pretty neat. I don't use mods or anything, but I can certainly appreciate the amount of effort being put into creating an original fighter.

Why, thank you! I appreciate your support!

will there ever be an "Enhanced" thicc version
i sure hope so

I uh... Highly doubt that the booty needs to get bigger.

Noah 1.5 is released!

Enjoy.

Now that you mention it XLU probably is the better route in your case.

A few issues:
1. CircleCore's dimensions aren't a power of 2 so it won't display properly on a real Wii.
2. The texture issues are caused by referencing palettes for your textures that don't exist in the material entries.
3. I enabled XLU for all materials in EffLucarioHadoudan (fyi, EnableDepthUpdate should be disabled with XLU)

Correction sent. End result:

Hey, thanks!  I appreciate it!

Mind if I take a look at the file?

No problem, where do I send it?

Or I could just PM you it...  I'll just do that.

You can copy the transparency settings from my Cia import http://forums.kc-mm.com/Gallery/BrawlView.php?Number=212444

Shader:
1. Export Shader1 from Cia
2. Create a new Shader for your model in Brawlbox
3. Replace that shader with Shader1

Materials:
4. Look at Material #31 in the Materials folder of Cia
5. Change your "Alpha Function" section values to match mine for the intended transparent texture
6. Change "Misc" section -> Shader to the new shader that was replaced with Shader1.

Hopefully this info is correct. Let me know if it isn't.

And that reminded me to post an update for Riku with transparent textures. Perfect!

Hmmm... I did it, but something doesn't seem right...

Everything's supposed to be transparent here, but it did get rid of the black background on each of the textures.

The orb itself is supposed to be a gradient fade to the outsides of the orb.

Awww geez...

I took a look at your model for Sia, and when I got to the part that was transparent, the color was still solid, much like mine...

Is there any way to make textures totally transparent?  If not, then that sucks...

AAAWWW DUDUDUDUDUDUUDDE!

I found out how to make it transparent!

I'll post here later, but only when I get the fade to work, how I did this.

Omg...  I just did it!

....Now I gotta explain what I did... [censored]!

I'll post it when I get around to it.

Oh... Now I have another problem...

Idky, but it's taking textures from the opponent's model, the orb itself looks fine, but the magic circles and swirl doesn't have it's own textures...

As Intended:

In Game:

I have no idea how this is happening, really.  How can I fix this?

Hello, I'm trying to make an orb to put over Lucario's Arua Sphere.

I want it to have everything transparent, but everything comes up otherwise.

How it's supposed to look:

How it's comming up:

This is only part of the final smash, but I'm just showing one part of it to give you guys a better look at what's going on.

I've been trying to mess with the values in the shaders and when importing it, I just don't know what to do.

Can you guys lend a hand?

Noah v0.1.3 is released!

Things to do:  Change up and forward throw, change landing animations for aerials, change wake up attack animations.
24  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Model Imports / Re: Noah Update Version 0.1.1 [6/30/2016] on: August 05, 2016, 01:44:03 PM
Noah is near completion...  Moveset wise.

I'll be making his Final Smash, but not too soon.  Once I get the smash attacks and aerials done, I'll release an update.  Most likely today!

Hey guys, I'm gonna be away for a while, I can't say when or why, but I will be working on this mod for about a month.

I'm kicking it into overdrive while I'll be away, so expect some new things to be added to Noah.

Making better animations for his attacks, moving onto tilts and smash attacks, and even specials.

I might be done with all the pretty attack stuff before I move onto movement animations.  Wish me luck.
28  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Model Imports / Re: [WIP] DarkWolf's Stupid, but Awesome Characters?! (Idea thread for now) on: July 17, 2016, 10:53:55 PM
You're gonna need alot of help if you're gonna make all of those characters...  Let alone one character...

There's alot of work to be had with said characters if you're gonna make a moveset with them...  I'm getting a taste of how daunting it could be...

At least this isn't MUGEN where you have to draw out EVERY SINGLE SPRITE....  UUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGHHHHH

Good luck, tho.

I remember seeing the following forum signature once, it had a dancing pony from My Little Pony and an important message: "Haters gonna hate". Its a good thing to remember sometimes. Though don't get be wrong, its very frustrating when the first reaction to something you worked very hard on is so negative.

I don't mod ssbb much anymore but I can see that your passionate about your work and that will take you far.

Also I'm curious, did the other artist do your request for free? Or was it a 'commission' in the sense of you paying him/her to do it.

Well, it was a commission, and on top of that it was a bit pricey...

I already have three other models made from him, and they're waiting in the shadows to be made.

One's a Chameleon, a Raven, and a Unicorn.  All bipedal, just like Noah... ;3

Glad to hear it wasn't fatal. Still, nice to see Noah fight back. Maybe he can pummel Yoshi next time? [REDACTED]

Uhm...  Tone the fetish-stuff down, man.  This isn't the place for it right now. ew e
