16  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Attacks and Animations / Re: Kage's Inner Sanctum: Using a Phoenix Down on: April 06, 2014, 12:35:11 PM
Losing the Wait2 will be unfortunate but if thats what has to happen so that I don't have to animate the tail in every frame, then so be it...

However it WILL cause an issue for at least two of his air attacks since they involve the tail but I THINK it SHOULD be obedient enough to do what I want it to do since it'll just be... straight for the most part for those attacks. But if thats not the case, then I'll just come up with different moves since

Wind generated Tail movement > hand animated tail movement.

Yeah, its on Marth's cape bone so it has wind physics. The only animation its really animated for so far is his Wait2 where he hops back on his tail.

Carnage, I'll send you the files shortly.

Sorry Zutox, Nightcrawler doesn't have a sword in this model.

Brawl Box makes gifs. Its no issue to make gifs at all.

The dodges are indeed gonna be teleport based. As are his specials. I'll leave the jumps normal.

Nightcrawler
Any actions not written down are open for suggestions. The whole thing actually is open for suggestions, but the ones that are blank means I don't already have an idea of what I want.

Entry:

Nightcrawler Moveset:
Nightcrawler Moveset:

Wait 1:
Wait 2: Nightcrawler hops on his tail and sits for a while.
Wait 3:

Dash/Run: Nightcrawler runs on all 4s

Attack 11: Round house kick
Attack 12: Flip Kick
Attack 13: Teleport Hell Drop Kick back down.

Attack Dash: Nightcrawler teleports and comes down with a diagonal dive kick from the opposite direction.

Forward Dodge: Nightcrawler jumps backwards and teleports apearing ahead of his original position.

Backward Dodge: Nightcrawler jumps forwards and teleports apearing behind his original position.

Neutral Dodge: Nightcrawler vanishes in place and re-appears later.

Air Dodge: See above.

Down Tilt: Tail swipe/trip

Up Tilt:

Side Tilt: 3 part kick attack. Extra kicks will trigger if preceding kick hits. Last kick leaves him in the air. Video: X-

Men Next Dimension - Nightcrawler  pt1 4:27 seconds.

Down Smash: Nightcrawler teleports and two puffs of smoke attack front and then the back.

Up Smash: Nightcrawler does a backwards kick upwards that sends him into the air flipping.

Side Smash: Front Flipping double heel drop. If you hold the B button while hitting the target, you will teleport backwards.

Neutral Air: Horizontal Spinning Tail attack.

Forward Air: Forward roll tail attack

Back Air:

Down Air: Nightcrawler teleports down. IF he hits someone, he'll kick them down while bouncing off of them.

Up Air:

Neutral Special:

Side Special: Nightcrawler vanishes and comes in with a diagonal air kick down. Holding the button on-hit will cause you to teleport into the air away from your target.

Up Special (Air/Ground): 8-Way Teleport. Nightcrawler can teleport in any direction. He can use this twice in the air. He

wont go into special fall after the move but wont be able to use it after that unless he lands or is hit.

Down Special: Nightcrawler teleports up. Those close enough to get hit by the explosion are knocked up. This sends him into

the air.

Forward Throw: Primary lotus kick up, -teleports- backwards flip kick down -teleports- side kick the target away.

Up Throw: Back flip kick. Two hits, 1 from each leg.

Back Throw: Nightcrawler rolls backwards and spring kicks the target up/back then teleports behind the target and kicks

them diagonally down/back and teleports back to the ground.

Down Throw: Nightcrawler teleports WITH whoever he's holding several times, hurting them in the process.

Final Smash (Air/Ground): Vanishing Frenzy
Time slows down in the match and Nightcrawler vanishes. The screen pans out and puffs of smoke appear randomly and strike

any near by.

Spider-Man
Spider-Man v2

Wait 2: Spider-Man shoots a web up and hangs from it for a while then gets back down.

Attack11:
Attack12:
Attack13:

Note: I have animations done but I'm not liking them anymore so I'll be changing them.

Dash Attack: Spidey jumps, webs the ground, then zips to it with a kick.

Up Tilt: Same as his current except it goes straight up instead of going backwards first.

Side Tilt: Some kind of attack that will -when you hit someone- trigger a second hit that will leave Spidey in the air

Down Tilt: Spidey (while crouching) webs the ground and then pulls himself forward with a kick.

Side Smash: Spidey webs the ground and puls back and uses the tension from the webs to propel himself forward, if he hits someone, he will bounce off them and be left in the air.

Up Smash: Spidey's Up Throw from the previous version.

Down Smash: Spidey jumps up, webs the ground and then pulls himself down with a heavy thud. Sweet spot will cause stomp effect.

Air Attacks: All are staying the same.

Up-Special: Spidey shoots two webs up and pulls himself up spinning in the process.

Side Special: 8 way web zip. Can be done onece on the ground and once in the air.

Neutral Special: Web Zip. Spidey shoots a web and if it hits someone he zips towards them. Unlike the side special the range is much shorter.

Down Special Air: Web Swing. (MvC)

Down Special Ground: Spidey Sense. Getting hit will cause time to slow down briefly so that Spidey can dodge out of the way. Leaves him in the air (just enough to be able to do Web Swing :3 )

Back Throw: Web Swing (MvC)

Forward Throw: Spidey jumps, webs you and swings you overhead

Up Throw: Spidey kicks you up, webs you, pulls you back down, then kicks you again

Down Throw:Spidey kicks you away, webs you, pulls you back, then stomps you into the ground.

Final Smash Ground: Same as previous versions.

Final Smash Air: Maximum Spider from MvC

Wolverine
Wolverine v3 Moveset:

Attack11: MvC - Done
Attack12: MvC - Done
Attack13: MvC - Done

Dash Attack: Drill Claw - Done

Side Tilt: Similar to P:M's Wolf's dash attack.

Up Tilt: Claw jab upward

Down Tilt: MvC Wolverine Crouching Light Punch

Forward Smash: Left Claw swing diagonally upward and across

Down Smash: Right Claw swing diagonally downard and across

Up Smash: SaberWolf's Up special thingy from Killer Instinct

Neutral Air: Wolverine v1's Neutral Air

Back Air: Same - Done

Forward Air: Same - Done

Down Air: Dive Kick

Neutral Special air/ground: Dashing X-Move from MvC. Doing this will cause Wolverine to dash in the direction he's facing. Meeting an opponent will cause him to do the attack if spaced/timed correctly. If the button is held, he will go PAST the target and attack them from behind. Wolverine will be invulnerable for the first 3 frames of this button press capable of moving past projectiles.

Side Special Air: Dril Claw sideways, aim-able straight, diagonally up and diagonally down

Side Special Ground: 3 hit launcher from X-Men Next Dimension. First hit will trigger second two strikes. (First strike is a left swipe second strike is a backhand of the right claw, third strike is an uppercut of the left claw.)

Up Special air/ground: Drill Claw up

Down Special air/ground: Regenerate (Wolverine will make a pose and heal 1% of damage at the same rate that Ivysaur heals from P:M

Note: All drill claws will trigger a 'bounce' state if a target is hit, allowing him to use the move once more. All Drill Claws and his Neutral Specials will render him in the helpless fall state if he doesn't hit anything.

Forward Throw: 3 puncture jab followed by a spin kick from X-Men Next Dimension. (Done)

Back Throw: Wolverine throws the target overhead behind him turning around in the process

Up Throw: Wolverine holds the target up above his head while stabbing him with his arms 3 times. The third strike sends the target flying.

Down Throw: Wolverine jumps on his target, stabs them a few times then jumps off of them, kicking them away.

FS Ground: Weapon X Special from MvC3 (Animated)

FS Air: Fetal Claw Special from MvC3

I'll post some Gifs later. BB makes them but it still takes a while for the longer ones.
19  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Attacks and Animations / Re: Kage's Inner Sanctum: Using a Phoenix Down on: April 05, 2014, 02:31:46 PM
No worries, I'll get someone to test it.

Edit:

So gonna stop keeping it a secret and just tell you gusy (Not like many people are still watching my thread anyway)

The 3 projects I'm working on are:

Nightcrawler v1
Spider-Man v2
Wolverine v3

Currently need testers for Spidey for the previously mentioned reasons. That'll probably be the one that gets finished first. Since the web string isn't an article anymore, that means he's portable more easily so for those who like their Sheik slot there ya go.

Wolverine's got a new set of animations I need to do because I decided to change some attacks up. Haven't finished that yet. He's over Wolf so that means clone-able.

Nightcrawler is coming along. I've done his entry, wait2, run, dash, Attack 11, 12, Dash Attack and Up Smash set. He's over Marth so that also means clone-able. Only issue is that I'll have to fix all his misc animations that normally don't get touched since leaving them as Marth wont look good at all...

My question is if I should have his jumps be teleports or just normal Nightcrawler like jumps...

And would you guys like the posted movesets?

And would anyone be interested in gifs of the animations?
20  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Attacks and Animations / Re: Kage's Inner Sanctum: Using a Phoenix Down on: April 05, 2014, 04:29:55 AM
You'd have to blame SDoom for that coding xD

All of Spider-Man's specials are the remains of SDoom's original Spider-Man psa.

What we're doing here is creating two new specials (Up and Neutral)

---

If you want/have time to fiddle with the action tab, feel free. If you don't have time or don't want to, I'll do it of course.

But just brainstorming what the attack would need to be coded like; The move is Spider-Man shooting a web and then zipping to a person (if any) who is struck by said web.

I'd like for that to be in 3 directions. diagonal up/down and straight. And yes, you're correct I want it to be the aerial neutral special.

So based off that, I can imagine that i'll need 4 animations.

Start animation
Diagonal Up
Diagonal Down
Straight

Unless I missed something.

Dude, no worries, if you wanna study, I'm not gonna take your mind off that. I can PSA what needs to be PSA'd its just I don't like it. So when you HAVE free time to help, then lemme know. But don't sacrifice your study time for this stuff xD

Also, a hint of what I'm working on can be easily found on page 1 of this thread.

Six Flags Drive. I'm just up the street from the place. In the summer you can hear the people on the rides xD

Thats most definitely an poption Im srs here

And that thing with Spider-Man is one thing I need testing. I don't know if the problem is resolved for sure but I got the model 'fixed' by JRush so it's probably ok now.

24  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Attacks and Animations / Re: Kage's Inner Sanctum: Spider-Man Close to Completion! New Poll! on: April 03, 2014, 01:57:22 AM
I need testers.

To tell a bit of a long story, I have moved back to Georgia from Illinois and out of the slew of roomates I have currently, there are two TVs.

However, of those two TVs there is an XBox One, PS4, PS3, WiiU, and lastly, a Wii occupying this space.

I don't really feel like battling any one over TV time to test the hacks I'm working on, SO...

Good news for any of you gusy who just LOVE that kinda thing...

I need testers. Not simple beta-testers, but people willing and active enough to test even the slightest thing that might need testing.

3 should suffice, so that if one or two of you happen to be busy, I have at least 1 of you to test should I need something tested.

Currently there are 3-ish hacks on my docket. Only the ones I give the job will know who those are.

All interested parties feel free to post here or PM me.  I'd like a post here though... so as to bring life bak into my thread again.

PS: I didn't retire again, I was just busy and also I've been working on side-requests here and there so I hadn't actually left.

yeah its possible to self terminate.
26  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Attacks and Animations / Re: Anivernage PSA Factory: Pc back!!!! Moveset plans added, #1422 on: March 03, 2014, 10:30:06 PM
I don't have a wii anymore, but I'm planning to move back to GA some time this month, which means I'll have access to my Wii again. So I can get back into high-gear when it comes to brawl hacking.

So collabing a Goku moveset would be awesome.
27  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Attacks and Animations / Re: Anivernage PSA Factory: Pc back!!!! Moveset plans added, #1422 on: February 23, 2014, 05:15:19 PM
Welcome semi-back dude.

Its ironic that you're kinda coming back as I no longer have my Wii. (I'll get around to making an 'official' announcment about it in my thread eventually)

Yeah me and Kien were gonna do a Goku eventually.  I actually played Budokai 3 recently and it re-ignited my want to do it. I think I actually have some animations... yeah, I do. I re-did them on my vacation. Improved waits and runs. Don't think I went into the attacks though. Didn't have a moveset at that point. Me and my friends just kinda didn't like the Current Goku moveset since we were playing with Broly and Kid Buu and Vegeta. Goku just can't compare to those movesets (Sorry MDK)

Also I'm working on Spider-Man v2 (kinda) but having some exploding head polygon problems in-game.

Anyway, hit me up yo. Its been ages since we chatted.
28  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Attacks and Animations / Re: Brawlex Ridley on: February 23, 2014, 04:22:01 PM
well i also dont use my wii now only the wiiu xD but what happened to your wii?

I took a vacation back home to Georgia and left it with my best friend so that I wouldn't have as many distractions here as I do (I need to focus on animations that can actually make money for me.)

Also, I just remembered something someone said about one of Ridley's air attacks. The tail one. They said it was broke since it had so much range... but then I just connected (in my head) the fact that Charizard in P:M has the same attack. xD
29  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Attacks and Animations / Re: Brawlex Ridley on: February 18, 2014, 03:40:47 AM
Wish I still had my wii and Brawl. Ridley was one of my favorite collabs. Good job Carnage on making him BrawlEX worthy.
30  Super Smash Bros. Brawl Hacking / Attacks and Animations / Re: Cali Kingz Projects on: February 05, 2014, 04:18:02 PM
I was gonna suggest something similar to the Megaman for Smash4 psa... being a projectile based f-smash attack.

And that the Up-Smash would be similar to Mewtwo's but instead of being a mist it would be a single explosion burst from his arm cannon.
