I regret to inform you all that due to copyright violations, MediaFire has suspended my MediaFire account. Because of this, I can no longer host my downloads there.
Any advice for what I should do now? I don't want to get overrun by several Brawl Vault reports.
Welcome to my vertex hacks thread. For over a month now, I've been taking a knack on making my own set of vertex hacks, all thanks to Autodesk 3ds Max. Of course, it did take me a while before 3ds Max 8 was in my arsenal.
Anyway, in a similar fashion as my Custom Textures Thread, this thread will display all of my personal vertex hacks that I've released onto the Brawl Vault. Of course, some of them may involve the work that was done by other users.

Vertex Hacks
Below is the full list of my vertex hack releases. While almost all of my vertex hacks will have texture edits as well, they'll be placed here, regardless of whether or not they have texture hack properties. Also, the same download rules from the Custom Textures Thread apply here in that all the hacks will come included with replaceable big portraits and small portraits, unless they're associated with Giga Bowser, Wario-Man, or any of the non-playable characters.
Do be advised though that some of the hacks are complete packs, which affect more than just one color slot.
I was recently able to get hold of Autodesk 3ds Max. Unfortunately, the best that I could download was the Autodesk 3ds Max 2010 edition.
Anyway, I have been playing around with some of the Brawl models with the program, but when it came down to doing vertex hacks, I was clearly missing some major steps.
I looked at the tutorials, and they mentioned about COLLADA being involved with the model imports. I browsed around to look for an OpenCOLLADA revision for 3ds Max 2010, and I saw a couple plugins that I could use.
Unfortunately, I soon ran into a brick wall, as whenever I try to import a .dae model with OpenCOLLADA, it never imports the model at all.
Either I'm missing something, or I'm just completely stuck. Some help would be appreciated.
Edit: If it helps, my computer's operating system is Windows 7. As for some images...
The link above leads to the data partition that illinialex24 uploaded. However, I'm starting to notice that a lot of the files are being removed; you can no longer download them. This can prove to be problematic for anyone looking to download specific files.
Someone should consider reuploading the Brawl NTSC-U data partition, preferably on a MediaFire account that has the MediaPro status. You see, it's probably safe to assume that illinialex24's MediaFire account is a free account, which heavily explains the number of files being removed; files that haven't been downloaded in a long time are subject to deletion on free accounts. A MediaPro status account avoids that issue 99.9% of the time. Of course, there is a bandwidth limit for MediaPro accounts, but at least the lowest MediaPro status allows 100 GB of bandwidth per month.
Just pointing this out for anyone who frequently goes to that account link for files.
I created this topic in order to show a list of the music BRSTM files that I've submitted onto the Brawl Vault. Music is listed from oldest to newest in terms of submissions.
If I add any new BRSTM files onto the Brawl Vault in the future, this thread will be updated as well. Hope that this makes things easier for people looking for certain BRSTMs.
I'm not known for music hacks, but I recently heard some music that sounded quite amazing. The YouTube member, BowieZ, has had a knack for making game music, even if it's for fan-made stuff. Some of his work was actually quite entertaining to hear.
Anyway, I did submit a BRSTM of one of his compositions onto Brawl Vault. Namely, Rainbow Planet.
The songs are looped, but I never tested them out in-game. They're also best used with most Super Mario Galaxy themed hacks.
Edit: I tested out the BRSTM, via Riivolution, and it works rather well. The volume level of the music is slightly louder than most default tracks though.
With model swaps going around, I decided to make this thread to explain about model swapping Kirby Hats.
Now, as a lot of people may know, whenever Kirby copies opponents, he wears a cap that relates to whoever he copied. Most of the Kirby hats don't affect Kirby's model, while others do.
Model Swapping Kirby Hats
The following is a list of Kirby hats that do not affect Kirby's model.
Mario Link Samus Yoshi Fox Pikachu Luigi Captain Falcon Ness Peach Bowser Zelda Sheik Ice Climbers Marth Ganondorf Meta Knight Pit Wario Zero Suit Samus Ike Charizard Squirtle Ivysaur Diddy Kong Lucas King Dedede Lucario R.O.B. Toon Link Wolf Sonic
When you view those hat models via BrawlBox, look at the tab that reads FileFlags. Texture data and model data relating to those Kirby Hats will have a FileFlags of 25600. Kirby hat data with that FileFlags can be model swapped, but you must make sure to get hold of ALL the data with the variable 25600 (textures, models, animations, etc.), or else you might have problems.
Now, the Kirby Hat PAC files are NOT compressed in any way, but model swapping can affect the file size of the PAC files. Therefore, some model swaps could lead to game crashes, while others may work with some drawbacks.
Now, I know that at least one Kirby hat model swap works without ANY flaws, which is swapping Wario's Cap with Mario's Cap (shown on the snapshot below). However, I have also seen a model swap in which Kirby dons Ganondorf's cap after copying Marth.
Basically, explore and find out which hat swaps work and which ones don't.
Non-Swappable Kirby Hats
Below is a list of non-swappable Kirby hats.
Donkey Kong Mr. Game & Watch Falco Olimar Jigglypuff Solid Snake
Those Kirby hats are not model swappable, due to the fact that they DO affect Kirby's model. They also do not have the FileFlags reading 25600, which adds to this fact. Therefore, don't waste your time trying to swap those hats since it will NOT work correctly.
Conclusions
I hope that this guide came in handy for those who like to model swap.
After Lensho released his Rosalina vertex hack, I took the time to work on the hack myself.
What I decided to do is use JuLz's Rosalina texture with the vertex edits that Lensho made, and did some recolors, animations, and even CSS modifications. Below are some snapshots of my first part edits.
Part two involved the use of Jack H.'s Expanded Breasts Peach vertex hack. I merged the vertex edits that Jack H. made with the ones that Lensho made, and I got the results shown below.
*JuLz's Rosalina texture, and my 5 recolors for it. *Fake Rosalina (fake texture). *Dark Rosalina (emerald texture). *Rosalina animations (Stafy model replaces Toad). *Rosalina portraits (big & small). *Rosalina CSS parts (tex0 and plt0 files). *An sc_selcharacter.pac file, containing the modified CSS parts. *Lensho's Rosalina Final Smash (Luma's Bom). *Rosalina's Crown for Kirby (Stafy model replaces Toad). *Expanded Breasts Rosalina; normal, dark, fake, animations. *A set of info.pac files, which replaces Peach's name to Rosalina (also affects Subspace Emissary). *A STGHEAL.pac file, which replaces Peach's portrait with Rosalina's.
There's no moveset hack in this download. And if you're wondering about the STGHEAL.pac file, here's a snapshot of the edit.
Regarding the portraits and CSS parts, you can look at the images below for references.

Credit goes to JuLz for the Rosalina texture. Lensho for the Rosalina vertex hack and Final Smash. And Jack H. for the Expanded Breasts Peach vertex hack. Animation edits and the Stafy texture are mine.
KAZECoyote's Rosalina Model
After finishing my first set of Rosalina edits, I've been waiting for KAZECoyote to release his Rosalina vertex edits. Since his edits are now downloadable, I decided to do my own edits on his work, especially since KAZECoyote's Rosalina vertex edits are easily the best of all the Rosalina vertex hacks.
Basically, the edits involve a combination of KAZECoyote's Rosalina model and texture, JuLz's textures, and Lensho's vertex edits. A lot of the CSS edits used on my first set of Rosalina edits return, but the CSP images are different. Below are some snapshots of my edits.
I had to do a hefty amount of hex editing so that KAZECoyote's vertex edits are applied to Peach's fake model and emerald model.
Also, as an extra bonus, I did some editing on Peach's emerald texture so that she resembles the Cosmic Witch, who is from the upcoming game, Super Mario Galaxy 2. Here are some snapshots of the edits.
On a side note, this texture uses the blue team slot.
*KAZECoyote's Rosalina texture, and my 5 recolors of it. *Fake Rosalina (fake texture). *Dark Rosalina (emerald texture). *Cosmic Witch (emerald texture). *Luma (Stafy model replaces Toad). *Rosalina portraits (big & small). *An sc_selcharacter.pac file, containing the modified CSS parts. *Lensho's Rosalina Final Smash (Luma's Bom). *Rosalina's Crown for Kirby (Stafy model replaces Toad). *A set of info.pac files, which replaces Peach's name to Rosalina (also affects Subspace Emissary). *A STGHEAL.pac file, which replaces Peach's portrait with Rosalina's.
Sorry, but there's no moveset hack. Also, there's no expanded breasts version of these textures either.
What goes where? Look at the list above.
For the portraits, refer to the images below.

Extra Images
Images below are extras that are used with files that aren't in the download.
Character Roll Call (used with the file, STGCHARAROLL.pac)
Main Menu (used with the files, mu_menumain.pac and sc_sel_event.pac)
Stock Icons (used with the files, sc_selcharacter.pac, sc_selmap.pac, sc_adv_seal.pac, info_corps.pac, info_corps_mg.pac, if_adv_mngr.pac, and STGRESULT.pac)
Credits go to KAZECoyote, Lensho, and JuLz for all the texture and model edits.
Enhanced Breasts Version
Despite my poor vertex editing skills, I was able to combine KAZECoyote's Rosalina vertex edits with Jack H.'s Enhanced Breasts Peach vertex edits. Results are on the snapshots.
*Enhanced Breasts Rosalina (default outfit, but no recolors). *Fake Enhanced Breasts Rosalina (fake texture). *Dark Enhanced Breasts Rosalina (emerald texture). *My animation edits for the enhanced breasts. *Luma (Stafy model replaces Toad).
Sorry, but there are no extras in this download. However, you can use these edits with the primary download, which is above.
Credits go to KAZECoyote, Lensho, JuLz, and Jack H. for all the texture and model edits.
Sports Outfit Rosalina
I did receive a request from PAVGN to make a sports outfit for Rosalina. Here are the results of my work. Basically, I designed Rosalina's sports outfit to resemble what the White Mage wore in Mario Hoops 3-on-3. Vertex edits were done by KAZECoyote, but I did have to do some hex editing so that the tennis racket is back to its normal state.
It took me almost a whole day to pull off, but I managed to modify Peach's animations so that they go with Jack H.'s Expanded Breasts Peach vertex hack. Below are some snapshots of my animation edits on Jack H.'s vertex hack.
I mostly moved the positions of Peach's arms so that most of the arm animations don't go through her breasts. Of course, I did have to do some extra animation modifications along the way (such as what's shown on one of the snapshots above). Animations aren't exactly perfect, since I'm a mere amateur with animation hacks.
I downloaded the file, FitPeachMotionEtc.pac, and modified the positions of Peach's arms. Although it's nearly done after hours of work, one of the animations doesn't look right. The animation, Win2Wait, doesn't look anything like the animation that's shown when FitPeachMotionEtc.pac isn't on your SD card; when viewed in BrawlBox, Peach hardly shows any signs of movement, except for her left arm.
Image of the strange animation dilemma.
If possible, can someone upload that CHR0 file in its correct unedited state; it can either be that animation file alone, or the 100% unedited FitPeachMotionEtc.pac?
Note: Use either MediaFire, MedaUpload, or RapidShare to upload the file, since I have the least problems downloading from those websites.
I don't know if anyone is aware of this, but a Brawl Snapshots member, named _Data_Drain_, did update a 1 year old texture that TeadyMKII did. The snapshots below feature the improved version of the PeachMKII texture.
That member was also generous enough to leave behind a download link along the way.
I'm trying to figure out the name of the trophy file, which contains Lucario's Aura Storm. I've been searching for it for quite awhile, but still haven't had any success.
If anyone knows the file name of that trophy file, please reply.

Welcome to my Custom Textures Thread, which moved from an older thread from a year ago. This thread contains each and every texture that I've created. Also, the reason for this thread is for more reserved spaces.
On a side note, at times I'll update my textures. If a texture is updated, you'll only be able to download the newest texture. The older version will no longer be downloadable.
Everything shown below can be downloaded by going to my MediaFire account. The downloads are separated to make things easier for you. All downloads are in ZIP files, but there may also be some extra files that you can download as well; Microsoft Excel files, Text Documents, etc..
