Well, I tried that and it didn't work (which I honestly didn't expect to.)
My problem isn't the stages not working; my problem is actually accessing the stages, since the SSS code to let me select them shows no results.
Ocarina codes have actually given me trouble before, (i.e. Corneria crashing when it fires the cannon) so is there a problem with my version of Gecko? I'm stumped.
Well, rather than make a new thread, I decided to recycle this one.
So yeah, I decided to try out Riivolution in hopes that it would help solve my SSS-related problems, but of course, nothing is ever that easy for me. Turns out that the problem this time is that the Orarina Code Handler Crashes the Wii when I try to load it.
Now, do note that I don't know the slightest thing about .xml files. I got these files from The Complete N00B's Guide. Just wanted to put that out there.
For some reason, whenever the Great Fox shoots its laser in Corneria, the game freezes. It doesn't seem like anybody else is having this problem, so if it's something I'm doing wrong, help!
Well, I actually have 3 codes. One that enables more stages, the custom SSS that lets me use them, and a code that allows those stages to be chosen by the random function.
So I've been trying to use the new(?) Stage Expansion Code recently, and the code for a custom SSS that will allow me to access these new stages does nothing.
EDIT: I downloaded the latest version of .NET framework and sure enough, the problem is fixed. Oddly enough, I had already tried this method to fix it the other day. *shrug*
Whenever I try to replace a file in BrawlBox (namely the CSPs), I get this error screen that if I try ignoring shuts down the program.
Apparently a file called System.Core is required to get this feature to function right, but I didn't see it when I Googled for it.
I've been having some problems with this method of file patching recently. Namely, the CSS. I have common5_en.pac in the correct folders and all, but it still won't load. The same goes for my .rel files. In Gecko they worked fine, but now the game just crashes when I try to load levels that use 'em.
I was wondering how one goes about changing the character that gets replaced by a full character hack (PSA, vertex, etc.) Is it a simple name change and a different folder, or is it more complicated than that?
I just wanna make the Shadow Final coexist with Sonic.
