I'm trying to have a total of 9 additional stages using the stage roster expansion system v2.0 by Phantom Wings, and these are the codes I've edited.

The results were a freeze, with the "BEEEEEEEEEEE--" sound, of course. However, I also ended up with 2 Green Hill Zone icons (the second one is supposed to be online training stage). What am I doing wrong?

When did the freeze occur? On the SSS? If so, you may need to add the Disable Custom Stages code. I've suggested the code to people who have froze at the SSS after adding a new code, and it always worked for them, and me when I experienced it.

Yes, it froze on the stage select screen, and I'll definitely try that code. I'll let you know if it works or not.

It should work. My SSS froze after I added the Stage Roster Expansion code, and all I had to do was add Disable Custom Stages and it solved my problem.

You're right, it does work. Thanks! However, this doesn't solve my "two Green Hill Zone icons" problem. I still can't figure out why there is a second one. And, the weirdest thing is that the second Green Hill takes you to Skyworld, when it's supposed to be Online Training stage. What in the world? XD

Also, I didn't address your duplicate Green Hill Zone stage issue in my first post because I don't know the answer. If you want, I can give you one of my SSS codes that doesn't have a double Green Hill Zone icon.

The last of my extra stages had the ID of 32. All I had to do to get online training back in was to change that "3B" I had in the normal stages area the first time to "33" (where specter had 00 in the same spot). It's supposed to be the hex directly after your last extra stage.

In green is what I had before that gave me a Green Hill icon that led me to the Skyworld stage. Keep in mind that I was editing from an already edited Custom SSS, so that explains why I left that there.

When I changed that to 33, it changed it back to online training stage because it comes after the number I have in red, which is the last of my extra stages, and matches up to the blue, which is the information for the online training stage (37 is the stage, and 64 is the icon).

Like I said, I don't fully understand HOW that works, but that's the logic I used to make it work.

Oh, well I never edited my SSS code so that's why I don't really possess any knowledge of how to change anything in it. I know of a guide that is extremely thorough about how to edit that SSS code, but I don't have any need to edit it because I really could care less about the locations of the SSS icons.
