i have a 4.3 wii and it works for me so it doesnt matter whigh you have. if you have riivolution use it, i used this its easy saves time and fun to use so because you read that guide already ill help you, trust me i have been looking a looong time and never found grreat advice but here we go. FIRST: (if you dont have it you need homebrew) SECOND: install riivolution to your wii heres RIIVOLUTION

FOURTH: make a folder and name it "riivolution" (DO NOT ADD quotation marks TO ANY THING IN THEM and make sure all lower case letters) every .xml goes in THIS folder(riivolution) download a modlauncher.xml FOUND HERE:

Every character has a code name some of them ARE THE SAME! EX: MARIO is "mario" and some of them dont EX: BOWSER its "koopa" for JIGGLYPUFF its "purin" and so on. so make folders for EVERY CHARACTER with their CODE NAMES on your sd card in the folder called "fighter" now download this example for practice:
