The current download link is unstable unfortunately. However, I have a stable pack in my computer lol. We just have to fix some things before we can release 0.7.
I recently downloaded the new "Hacked" version, and just as I suspected, the hack-set is running far more smoothly. It's still a bit unstable, but it's definitely worth it. Thanks a ton guys, this is just the base hack-set I needed!

    As for LC,
Because how dare someone say something bad? No, we must silence the heathens at once.
No one cares if you don't personally like this package; no one is offended because you have an opinion. The problem is that your reasons for hating the mod are not only petty, but poorly thought out, and worse yet you're being obnoxious about it.

One shall see how much quality this pack will have. Quick hint though, don't hold your breath.
    Like I said before... this isn't even a pack. It's a base for a hack-set.

This isn't about the extra characters or the new stages themselves necessarily. This is for people who want 100 stages for themselves to change, the ability to add extra characters.

So in terms of quality, this hack is already well above expectations.

It still feels a bit tacked on, though, to be honest. I still don't trust this pack to be any good as the others. Time will tell, I suppose, but it is pretty much still just a "let's take things from other people and bunch it up into a pack". I want to see what they can do to change this.
You're completely missing the point of this mod, LC. This is the first hack set of its kind. People have worked tirelessly to make P:M both BrawlEX and Stage Expansion compatible. A big reason why this pack is "as good as all the others" is that it does something no other pack does.
They don't need to do anything to change the hack (aside from fix some bugs); the whole point of the mod is to make a base for the downloader to personalize.

You only popped up in here trying to whiteknight this thread because you do the same damn thing.
No LC, I don't do the same thing.
What I'm working on is a pack.
But this guy made a hack-set.

And second of all, your main complaint is about just taking other's work and rehashing it without changing anything; something I don't do either. Do you have any idea how hard it is to make a PSA?

I'm "whiteknight"ing because P:M+ is one of the next steps for certain people in the hacking community and all you want to do is complaaaaain.

No, someone on a *Brawl hacking site* wants to change a **Total Conversion** to stray away from its original intent.
I'll believe you when somebody tries to change this game into Street Fighter.

Everything about hacking Brawl strays away from Smash's original intent. If that's what bugs you, then why are you here?

I'm pretty sure the way P:M made things, they were pretty much against unofficial builds, which technically, is what this is. So yes.
I'm pretty sure the way Brawl was built, Sakurai was against unofficial builds.

Now you're just being an idiot. But to be fair, there are still Melee addicts out there that think THAT is the truth, so I'll let it slide.
    Well.
From the perspective of gameplay alone, I'd certainly side with those people.

Just because it's borrowed and properly credit doesn't suddenly make it okay to have a catch-all compilation pack whose mods someone can already get seperately.

    ...

Also, yeah, you're totally right. Downloading other people's hacks into a pack is SUCH hard work. P:M's good enough as it is, it doesn't NEED to be 'better'.
If it's not OK than why don't the moderators shut projects like this down?
Believe it or not, a lot of people don't have the time or patience to grab each little mod and update their hack-set like this. This is just convenient.

If P:M is "good enough as is", than why don't they just stop updating it?

You don't know what 'hypocrite' means, do you? IF I had a compilation pack of my own, you'd be right, but you're not.
Uh, actually, if I were here to complain about this "pack", that's what would make me a hypocrite in this situation. You're being a hypocrite because you're a hacker - in a thread about hacking - complaining about people hacking the game.

At least the others can form a coherent response. You barely have enough brainpower to post a [censored]ty GIF.
You know, people have been reported to the moderators for wittier insults than that.

I posted nothing but a .GIF because it summed up everything I needed to say, chill the [censored] out lol. Like Amarythe said, we get it, you don't like packs. Guess what though? NO ONE CARES.

You're like that one [censored] in a movie theatre whining about a movie that everyone is trying to watch, but can't enjoy it over hearing you [censored] about everything.

As said "Amarythe", this hack does not places of change at the base, this is a pack "Project M + BrawlEX" offered every hacker who wants to add new terrain and  new character while benefiting of Gameplay Melee.

Nous voulons tout de meme offrir de la qualité pour bénéficier plainement de notre pack, il nous manque juste un hacker pour les moveset de Young Link, Dr Mario and Pichu for version 1.0

We want to offer all a quality and benefit plainement our pack, we just lack a "hacker" moveset for Young Link, Dr. Mario and Pichu for Version 1.0

Thanks Amarythe and ShadowRockShoota for your support, it really has of bad language here ...
    Sorry for my writing english

I would suggest less arguing and perhaps preparing a somewhat cleaner Opening Post.

As stated in this section's Ground Rules, projects posted here need to have
    1. A significant showcase and progress report AND
    2. A public release of some of that progress.

You have the public release. The rest of the OP spends half its text explaining why you made that pack instead of showcasing/telling what it does.
Consider fixing that, or this thread might end up in the "Project Concepts" sub-section really soon.

And trust me, you don't want to go there. It's got rabid wolves and crap.

The problem probably was if you crouched.  It froze on me just by that and hitting the ground from the d-air.
I was wrong.  It was the crawling issue.  I hit left while crouching and it froze.  It needs a no-crawl code for Young Link.

First of, Im really impressed with this Project Cheesy
I think i know how to fix that crawl glitch, Just go into the BrawlEx Fighter Config and untick CanCrawl.

Now Young Link should play perfectly.

No problem, In fact, I have fixed any serious game-breaking in Versus.

(Mario now has his old Wario costume back, There was something up with it.)
(Donkey Kong has his new costume back, As it would have froze if you went to that slot)
(Samus freezes for some reason, But im still researching that)
(SFX? I dunno whats up with that)

So I tested it... And there's quite the number of things that need fixing, on the character select screen, the gametype font that says whether you're in time mode, stock, or coin mode, looks weird, the boxes with each character in it flickers, Pichu's voice is Pikachu's, it crashes when I try and select Donkey Kong's alternate costume, the narrator doesn't voice out when I select Roy, Pichu, nor Mewtwo, and for some reason, Mario's battle portrait is the Wii U one?

But I LOOOVE ALL THE STAGES!! What all you've done... You might want to consider contacting or joining the people at Project M Unbound. They're basically doing the exact same thing you're doing, but have a whole team devoted to it... What they have is less buggy, but they have much less content. They don't have Doctor Mario, Toon Link, nor any additional stages.

Has anybody else been having a problem with Snake? For me, selecting him almost guarantees a freeze. I've already redownloaded the package, too.

I think i have finally found out why the sfx doesnt work,

The Replacement Soundbank Engine code isnt in the GCT, Unbound had this and it was possible to use it.

It has to be this, Everything you guys were doing was right from the start, Just missing a code.

Im happy to say that i have fixed the sfx!

I simply added the code in through GCT Analyzer, And now Young Link, Roy, & Mewtwo have their sfx working!

Pichu still uses Pikachu SFX, And Roy has a quiet announcer call. So im going to fix that now.

    Awesome Face
