Super Smash Bros. Brawl freezes

I have placed my new stuff such as character textures and stages (still trying to make them work) and I my music is working. But when I select a stage or when it jumps to the stage, it freezes over as it beeps.

Any idea how to fix it?

Usually freezes are caused by too big of filesize, but first you should test if it is, and where the problem lies in the first place. What you can do is cut every folder except one and paste them somewhere on your computer, and then do the same for each folder, and then, of the ones that freeze, do the same thing inside that folder. Then, when you figure out what file(s) are causing the freezing, check what the filesize is.
