Failed to Reserve Track! Reason: Invalid Field in CDB
This is what I get when I try to burn Brawl to a DVD. I know my DVDs and my burn drive work fine since I burned two games today already.
The DVD is single-layer. I heard that to burn single-layer, I just force a burn and ignore all the errors that show up, but I can't ignore the errors if they prevent me from continuing, haha.
So, any advice?

Did you take out SSE cutscenes?

I wasn't aware I had to remove them manually.

stop wasting disks. got an eight GB flash drive? use the app that lets you load isos from a flash drive. Just a suggestion.

Someone model hack in Maka from Soul Eater (with Soul as the scythe) into Brawl when model hacks come out and you will become king of the world.

DVD -R always get that track error, its due to them checking all the info before doing the actually burn, if they don't fit, it wont let you burn. You will need a DVD +R and set it to -R mode to burn a DL brawl onto a SL.

Oh nice. Thank you. I'll pick up a +R and try it.

If you're going to spend money on something else to make your ISO work, do what Neon suggested and buy an 8 GB flash drive instead of more DVDs.

Yes that probably is the best alternative, only if you are willing to spend money. BUT if you want to use your -R's, get Wiiscrubber 1.0 and scrub your DL iso with it. You will be able to burn in then.

I'm doing DVDs because I plan to give copies to my friends.
But anyway, about scrubbing, is there a tutorial around here for that somewhere? I never scrubbed an ISO before.

You click scrub image.
The scrub image wont knock it down to below the 4.7Gb limit. It just removes the empty space. I recommend he just rips the brawl ISO as single layer using a dumper.Or just remove the SSE.

Um, if you do it with wiiscrubber 1.0, it does.
