Ok I have been trying to get Ike's +2 textures to work and it just won't do it. I am using photoshop CS4, I have indexed and then under selections what am I supposed to choose?
My last choices were: Palette-Exact, Forced-None, Transparency-unchecked. I have tried many combinations and they just don't work.
The only one of the texture I have actually edited was his hair. The rest I didn't even change. What am I doing wrong?

I have downloaded BrawlBox but how would I use it to make Ike's textures work?

Open up the fitikeXX.pac in brawl box, open up the texture data[0], right click the files inside texture data[0] and replace them with their corresponding edited images.

When using BrawlBox to modify indexed textures, you don't use magenta to represent transparent areas.  Instead, the Alpha Layer is used.

However, you want to export the texture parts as PNG images, since they'll have transparency, even when indexed.  TarGA images have to lose the Alpha Layer if indexed, but you do get to see that layer in Photoshop CS4.

Just use pngs they're way easier to me. Just delete the parts u want transparent. The selection tools and magic eraser tool are yr best friends

Just make sure the tolerance is all the way down to 1 so u don't delete too much. Then when yr don't go to the texture u want to replace and click on replace then find yr file brawlbox pretty much does the work for u from there

I should probably mention that there are some texture parts with transparency, but don't appear transparent in the game (such as the Final Smash eyes for the flat-eyed characters).

If you export the texture parts as TarGA (.tga) images and view them in Photoshop CS3 or CS4, you should see what's visible when the Alpha Layer is off.  Look at the image below for an example.

Ok you guys totally lost me here. I'm not trying to make anything transparent. I want the game show ike's eye and hair textures with the .pac file I made.
