As far as I know, it is possible as long as you can import that model into 3dsmax/blender/maya
Which is definitely possible; then you need to convert them to the model and texture formats used by SFM, although I can't remember how, but that's what Google's for
That doesn't sound like filesize to me; sounds to me like you're swallowing a character that doesn't have a Kirby hat; AKA a "null reference error"; I could be wrong, tho, and it's probably hard to fix this
Ok, so lower the filesize of Goku3 by exporting textures and reimporting them as half the size
Then, although there are exceptions where other reasons are why, I'm sure that these are all freezing because they don't have enough bones; to see what I mean, open up each file, expand the mdl0 and expand the Bones folder, then expand the Bones until you see ThrowN; in the window on the right, there will be something called BoneID; for all 5 .pcs files, what number is next to this?
There are 2 causes of crashing when it comes to skins, and it's likely that it's the first reason, filesize; compare the filesize of these .pcs files with the original vBrawl Lucas .pcs filesize, and lemme know if they're larger or smaller than the original
Ironically, it looks like it'll take over an hour to download it for me, anyways, and I'll be busy today with my nephew's birthday party, so it'll likely be a few hours before I can get back to you, so I will PM you a message with the info
Figure out which of the .pac and .pcs files are bigger in size than the ones from Vanilla Brawl, and for the ones that are bigger in filesize, you can export textures with large dimensions, and then Replace them with the same textures, but in the import window, change the dimensions to smaller, but make sure that it's by a power of 2
It's nearly 100% likely because of filesize; compare filesize of the original Brawl files with the ones you're replacing with; if filesize is NOT the problem, then I'll talk about the less likely possible reasons
Even though I don't know why it's doing that, I do know that if you animate with Blender and convert the animation with Maya, if done correctly, it's glitch free; If this would work as a workaround, just ask me, and I can give you the steps to do it
If he agrees, sure, np; I'd prefer via Skype if you can, though, because that has Screen Sharing, and I can tutor each of you separately, if you're fine with Skype
Not really, it's kinda complicated to explain without a video or audio, and I haven't yet gotten to making this particular video yet; would maybe an alternate method of communication work for you? I can also do TeamSpeak, Discord, or Google Duo
All you need is Brawlbox (unless you're changing which limbs are the ones that do damage), and I can show you how; Would meeting over Skype work for you?
