Whenever I play my Smash Bros. mod the game randomly freezes when characters enter the stage. I've tried using the No Entry Data code but it doesn't work. Also the Spear Pillar stage freezes in the middle of battle unless Cresselia appears. Can someone help me fix this?

Info: Not compatible with Riivolution. [not big trouble]
The game may randomly freeze during character entry. [this is kinda hard to know because its a random thing, do you edited the entry data of the characters?. try just using normal entry data, just edit the animation and edit the models of the entry to make them invisible, make them super small with the vertex editor in brawlbox]
The game may freeze mid-battle if Tails (Not NaruTails) and Blaze the Cat are in the same battle. [try porting blaze on a different character, what is the base character of blaze?] If Duskull and Inferno the Demon are both chosen the game will soft lock after selecting a stage. [not a big trouble] If you choose Spear Pillar then the game will freeze mid-battle if Cresselia doesn't appear. [try editing the stage, copy the Cresselia one in the other two] Home Run Contest will freeze immediately after selecting your character. [it must be a code or character conflict, are you using the unlimiter time code?] Attempting to have a second player join in the boss battles character select screen will make the game freeze. [if the homerun freeze is not caused by a code, the conflict in this mode it must be the same]
bro, there are a bunch of codes that are tagged as Unknown, most of the crashes i got in my game are caused by a code or a corrupted file, you need to check out everything untill you find something, this will take a while, but is the best way to find what is messing up you're game.
Let me know if you got any progress, if not, i could help you to remake youre mod from 0, i really like the sonic serier and ill be happy to help with an awesome project.

I'll work on decoding the unknown codes. I know that a lot of the codes come from Brawl Minus as that's what I used as the base for the game. Blaze is over Marth and Tails is over Meta Knight. I could move Blaze to a BrawlEx slot if you think that would resolve the issue between them. She seems to always conflict with Meta Knight regardless of what I put over him.

ok, letme know when you get the code names, and if the exfighter doesn't work, that means the problem is blaze Data or PSA.

I've managed to decrypt the unknown codes in my code list: I'm not exactly sure what the Omnibus code does. Do you think it might be causing the freeze?

well... Spear Pillar buttons activated code could be a solution to the stage crashing, you have some codes added more than one time, like the stage builder codes, that could make some craches, and also you have both CSS and SSS panels edited, i've have a lot of trouble with custom SSS's, the zelda standalone icon, and the custom random codes in the past, yes, lots of crashes, you have also pre-configured battle settings by codes, and the infinite items could be a source of some crashes in-game, maybe that's why is random, try adding the multiple smash ball's and multiple final smash codes, the game could be crashing because the code orders to make unlimited items of any kind, including the smash ball, but the game is programed to spawn only one ball, making the game to freeze.
oh, and the blaze PSA in marth, has no compatibility with tails PSA over meta knight. i think there's a hack based on zelda, but you stiil need to edit the PSA.

I'll start testing with the codes ASAP. As for Blaze it seems that the creator of the moveset uses some assets from Meta Knight, I doubt this is the cause of the crash though as Gyarados uses Meta Knight's Mach Tornado GFX for his N-air. The Blaze moveset over Zelda is what I use for Gardevoir and it's of a much lower quality moveset then the one over Marth. Post Merge: February 03, 2016, 05:41:09 PM
For some reason whenever I add or remove a code from the GCT it won't load any of my hacks. Not even the Strap load screen. It just loads up normal Brawl. I'm back to square one at this point.
