Need help with grenade texture

I made a costume for Kirby's Snake hat, including a new grenade texture, but it still shows up as the normal grenade in-game.  Even when I open the pac in BrawlBox, it shows the new texture.  How do I get the new grenade texture to show up in-game?  In case it makes a difference, the texture has a CI8 format and a palette.  Please help me!

You need to edit the grenade texture that's included with Kirby's Snake cap.  Only by doing that will the texture changes be applied.  However, do be advised that Kirby has 6 copies of his Snake cap; one for each of his color slots.

That's what I did.  In BrawlBox, it shows the new texture and palette for the grenade in my edited FitKirbySnake00.pac, but in-game, it's just the normal grenade.

So, the grenade in common3_en.pac is for Snake and Kirby?  Kinda ruins the point of Kirby having his own grenade files.
