The PCS file is the costume file. PAC files are only needed when trying to use the costumes in 1-Player modes.
But you need the PCS file in order to make the skin show up.
All characters have PCS files. Even the former hackers include them in their downloads.
Shouldn't have all PCS files been put in with the download of Frozen then?

All of them are in the download, as far as I know. Because they are all needed to load hacked textures, models, etc.

Well that's the problem...Some of the costumes aren't working like Eggman at least for me. I do have a Wii but my Brawl copy is scratched to hell and doesn't work anymore. So I'm running this on Dolphin.

So my last question is now pages away, so I'll repost it to make sure someone sees it: I still don't know where to put the code to make this hack work. I know it's supposed to be called RSBE.gct and placed in the codes folder normally, but I can't open the one that came with the download to add the code to it. Is that code just universal, and I need to create a new one with the File Patch Code from here and add the other code to it? How do add the other code to it? Just copy everything line for line (including the credits and the asterisks) and paste it below? Sorry for having to ask so many questions, but everyone here assumes that everyone knows a lot about this kind of thing. I don't. D:

Look for GCT Fusionizer in the Vault and follow its instructions to fuse 2 different GCTs. And you need to add the whole code excluding the asterisks, or else it won't work. Simply make a new GCT file with the code you want to add, name it code (or codes, I forgot). Put both that GCT and the one included in the download in one same folder, and put the GCT Fusionizer.exe file inside said folder. The next parts should not need more explanation. If you're still having problems, you can send me a Personal Message, as this thread has gone off-topic.

Just checked the fighter folder and it shows all the pcs and pac files. So I tried injecting another sd.raw with the download folder still got the same result. Uses default costume.
Post Merge: March 12, 2015, 05:06:39 PM Would using WiiScrubber work better on the iso then using a virtual sd.raw and injecting the files into there?

Sorry for making my first post a request for help, one that I'm sure shouldn't be here but I've been trying everything lately and looking on how to get this on my wii, but I have no clue where to start and what should I do exactly.
Was looking if there was a specific vid tutorial regarding this pack somewhere but I had no luck, I've kept my eye on this pack and I really want to try this, but have no idea how to go on about that, I did hack my wii and got usb loader gx on it and some games but that's all there is to it. I've a Pal wii and a Pal copy of ssbb.
Apologies once more but, if anyone would be kind enough to guide me through it'd be awesome. Many thanks.

You merely need a 2GB SD Card. Throw all the files as they are onto the SD Card. Make sure you have Homebrew. You can check YouTube for a good tutorial on how to do so.
Then when you have HomeBrew. Open homebrew and click the App that shows. It should load automatically.
I hope this helps.

Did as you said for the sd card, went in homebrew and notice gecko was there, assuming it's the app you said would show but loading the game from there changes nothing, brawl comes up with no changes. Gecko also mentions lack of sd codes before launching brawl. You sure that's all there is to it ? Sorry for taking your time.

BrawlEx doesn't work for PAL. Unless you use a USB Loader to load the NTSC version of the game. And after reading your first post, you should ask somebody who has both USB Loader and BrawlEx so they can help you. Sadly, IDK who uses the USB Loader. I use Gecko.

I know WiiScrubber works fine; I know, 'cause I changed my SSBB iso to have my own hacks in it and play it on Dolphin. It takes a while with Wii Scrubber, though, so I might recommend only replacing the .pcs files if you go that route.(It takes a while because you have to hold the enter key for about 10 seconds or so after replacing each individual file.)
