I am currently trying my hands at my first model hack, and I used Fuse to make the model, I was wondering if I could convert the files to the required format(s) at all. I am a noob at this stuff, so any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Yes; download Autodesk's free FBX Converter program, and convert the .fbx to .dae, then, in the newest version of BrawlBox, Replace the MDL0 of a character in BrawlBox with the .dae; I actually use the conversion of .fbx to .pac for my Blender imports.

Everytime I replace the .mdl0 file with the .dae file, the BrawlBox crashes. Any idea how to fix this?

Ok, then it may be the version of the .fbx/.dae; see if it will still crash if you replace it in an earlier version of BrawlBox, like .71

Upon importing, make sure that it's set to "ForceFloat" on all three of the things at the top.(Or checkboxes, if you're using a really old version of BrawlBox), and this should theoretically fix it; if not, let me know.

Ok, so, I would actually recommend downloading either Blender or 3DS Max and re-rig it to one of Brawl's skeletons, since the Mixamo skeleton is entirely different, as well as the size being totally different.
