Wow, this project is awesome. I have a question, though. Do all characters have their own sfx or are they silent? If the latter, do you guys plan on fixing it?
Also, i will probably not be able to work on the hack for the next 2 days. Why ?
I do not know if you follow the news in France, but the situation here is terribly degrading about our individual liberties.
The laws Gayssot - making criminally responsible those wishing to question the official version of history
Military Planning Act passed by the Senate December 10, 2013 - almost similar to the prism program of the NSA.
And finally this week - the prohibition of the one man show of Dieudonné an anti-Zionist and anti-system humorist, even after the auto-delete all abusive comment may be held in his show, the prefecture of police still banned his new show to prevent any potential crime, yes, now in France, you can be convicted before having committed an offense.
It reminds me of a quote from Voltaire (a French philosopher of the 18th century) "to know who really runs you, just look at the ones you can not criticize".
I am in favor of a dissident movement in France, which is why the next day will keep me busy.
Yeah, diagonals are still freezing for me, too.
Ah, Voltaire. I love that guy. Anyway, that really sucks. I mean, I get what they're trying to accomplish; prevent crimes before they happen. But that really seems rather tyrannical to me. Who can possibly determine when and where a crime will occur, and who will do it? It seems really flawed and only looks as if it trying to limit the people's freedom.
Then you did something else. The code messes with many SFX when using it. Some sounds are messed up, and others crash the game.
I was testing the code, the game froze like 3 times:
1. When selecting Sonic. 2. When Snake spawned. 3. When picking a Smash Ball.
I just had Shadow SFX over Shadow. I didn't have a single hack on Sonic, Snake or the Smash Ball, and they froze. When I removed the code, everything was fine.
It might actually be the SFX pack that you have. There are some SFX packs that when inserted to the BRSAR, mess up other character's SFX, such as the Vegeta one which messes up Sonic's and Snake's. I'm not entirely sure if the same thing would occur with Gecko.
Awesome! Can't wait to try her out! Oh, right. It seems I'm already having issues. Her SFX won't insert in to BRSAR properly; it keeps modifying group 38, which is Lucario's, as opposed to Marth's 26. Any help with this?
Hey guys, I know this is off-topic and all, but uh, have any of you tried spamming Toon Link's ground Up-Special on an enemy with Turbo Mode on? Seriously, I thought the PMBR said you couldn't keep cancelling into the same move. Also, spamming Wario's Air Up-Special is pretty much a sure kill on the foe unless the opponent moves out of the way. And Mario's Down-Special is harder to spam, but it can still be done. In fact, pretty much every character can spam their specials from what I've seen. Seriously. What. The. Heck.
You mean Fire Flower Marth. Anyway, this Roy of yours is awesome! I can actually win with him now! lol. Are you planning on updating your other True movesets for 3.0?
I've actually been having that issue myself for a while now. Just like you said, whenever I try to export and import a sawndz file into the brsar, it goes into the wrong group but, inserting wav files works fine. Any modified sawndz file works for me, but not one with the original sfx of a character.
Toon Link's Pegasus Dash, since the last update, does in fact go infinitely.
...Although there's a chance I forgot to replace the file with the update. Can anyone else confirm that the Pegasus Dash is limited like he's saying? It works as intended on my end.
Also, sorry for the current hiatus. It's been weeks since I've released anything. I've geared my attention towards major updates for my Nostalgia project, in preparation for my first release of Super Smash Bros. All Stars (the name of my WIP ultimate hack-pack).
This means that, when released, the first version of the pack will include textures for every single character. I intend on giving each character (when applicable) two textures: The look of their FIRST appearance in a video game, and the look of their LATEST appearance in a video game.
Adding finishing touches to Marth, Lucas, and Peach.
And MAN does Marth look good. Like... dude. DUDE.
The animation works fine; it's the hitboxes that aren't working. The collisions work for like a second, but stop right after even though the animation is still going on. And I seriously can't wait for that pack of yours. Especially since your making your Marth sound amazing. IT BETTER BE AWESOME. lol
Because i want try to do a "one-shot" release, i want to give you a official release the most clean and perfect as possible and let the suggestion of the players come after, not during the development process.
That makes sense. I shall eagerly wait for said release then.
That's what I did for the previous version and I do not want to do it again.
Because there is a tremendous amount of idiots who obviously did not read the "readme" inside the hack or even its description on the download page and come report the hack when it is explicitly stated to report any problem on the topic due to the fact than the hack is in beta testing phase and not a official release.
Well if that's the only reason, why not just post an exclusive link here on the topic rather than on the Vault? That way, the only way to report anything would be to PM you or post here. I completely understand where your coming from, though, and understand that you don't want to post a 'beta' yet.
Hey, speaking of Toon Link, I'm not sure if you know this, but the collisions on his Pegasus Boots attack do not go on infinitely like the animation. They end at the same time they used to before you fixed the attack. And if you do fix it, mind telling me? I'm trying to give Wario his Dash Attack from Wario Land 4, but he's having the same problem as Toon Link.
