No it wouldn't get removed with the fourth. I should've been more clear. Make at LEAST 3 hacks on the same character. or maybe for the sake of a name. Make 3 hacks on two different characters. EX, 3 on zelda, 3 on marth. Call it... Thrice Twice.

well, im pretty sure a looot of people have at least 3 hacks on the same character, cuz for some reason, people (in which i include myself) tend to get used to hacking a certain character, be cuz he likes his moveset, be cuz he just finds everyone fitting on his bones xD

^^I think having 3 hacks on the same character would be extremely common. Though the idea of having a hack on each character is good.

However, this would have to wait until BV gets reworked, because there's probably no way to efficiently automate that one as of right now. And doing this by hand is also pretty much impossible.

The idea for a hack on every character was also given somewhere at the begginign of this thread. I remember I suggested it. But it was rejected or ignored then. I still think it is a good idea, and as Jokekid said it could work like awards did before being automated. You get the requierements and you post something like "I earned the hackedeverysingleoneofthecharactersingameatleasto nce award"

I checked its around page 83-85, so my mistake not really the beggining  I don't think this thread is older than a year.The point is, that is a cool award. And I believe some awards are automated, as in, there is a script or something that tells you which user earned an award, then maybe they assign it manually or by script (just guessing). For this award people who earned it could request it here after meeting the requirements. That's what i think. |

What is automated is determining who got it and awarding it. That means we basically have a page with a bunch of buttons, and each of them checks and gives a specific award. So it's not fully automated, but close enough. And as Jokekid said it could work like awards did before being automated. Actually, up until now the awards were mostly given by me just occasionally browsing through lists of members, ordered by total downloads, number of posts, etc... People asking for awards here just are accelerating the process, but all of our awards except for one can be given without a user directly asking. The thing I do not like about users checking for the award by themselves is simply that only a fragment of the ones deserving it will actually get it. That's why I've been waiting until Vyse manages to optimize the BV database a bit more before we can run some slightly more complex scripts, that check the type of hack, or check for each character... |
