I think it just changes the directory of the Dynamic SD loader.

Yeah. As an example: Once you have everything set up, you can select Lucario and change to whatever texture you want; then hold Z, select Lucario with player 2 and change costumes. Player 2 will use the Mewtwo PSA and whatever textures were in the alternate folder.

The post said that you can't play as an original character vs a PSA character.

Oh, I see it now. It's kinda in the middle of that paragraph. Something so important should stand out a bit more, but whatever...
My interest in this just dropped significantly.

Couldn't you just use the origanal pac file?

Yeah, I'm not going to bother if we can't mix characters. I think I understand why. If Player one tries selecting Lucario, and Player 2 trys selecting an alternate Lucario, the game thinks you're still selecting the alternate Lucario, the game thinks your still selecting Lucario, so it overwrites it.
I still don't care. Unless they can fix that, which I think is impossible, I won't care. Also, on top of that, I'm absolutely certain it will desync online, even if your friend has the same codes.

Brawl was never made to load 2 different pacs from the same character, so whenever that character is picked, latest pac overwrites the one before.
Its possible to fix, but someone would have to make a code that allows brawl to read 2 separate pac files with the same name. This could be done by having a dupe of brawls loader, and you would have to assign certain pacs to be sent there for loading (the PSA ones). Then even there you could only have 2 PSAs of the same character in 1 match.

So, it's exactly as I thought.
